I mean technically it's not the parts themselves but more likely some sort of software issue. I imagine a driver update or clean reinstall of the drivers would fix his problems
the reason it crashed was because his CPU overheated trust me i know it happened to me so many times and all i had to do was not overclock it, and speed up the fans a little more
