Messi was still the best player in the world when he primarily dribbled and scored with his left. He has improved his right a lot in the last 5 years or so, but being one-footed didn't stop his dominance. I am not saying players shouldn't work to improve their weaknesses, but sometimes people overestimate the advantages of being two-footed. Pedro is very two-footed, did he ever approach world-class level? Robben at his peak has always been very one-footed and predictable, but he was a terror for every defense he faced. Santi Cazorla is probably one of the most two-footed players ever! Passing, crossing, dribbling and shooting with both feet, but he never came close to Xavi and Iniesta level of dominance. Especially when you consider that Xavi was never that great with his left-foot.

He's done exactly that at BVB - why he's leading the assists...amazing prospect, can't wait to see him become an England regular

Rashford is absolute trash. His technical abilities and finishing aren't at pro level. He can't hold up the ball or link up play. His decision making is horrendous. Sancho is miles ahead. Mourihno was right to start a more reliable striker Lukaku

You're acting like Sterling isn't good. He's 22 and has huge potential. Why is it such a bad thing that he hasn't scored 15 premier league goals? Hazard couldn't and only has reached that amount now that he's 26 years. Under Pep I'm sure Sterling does a lot more defensive work than Hazard under Conte. Hazard plays left forward or striker. I'm sure Sterling will improve his goal scoring next season in terms of number cause he's admitted it's his next target. Then he'll be a top class complete player. As for Sancho, it isn't a bad thing. He's won the golden ball at this tournement if his career turns out to be anything like the previous winners of this individual award (Kroos, Pogba Messi) hell be too class. You're completely wrong i'm a Liverpool fan, I watched Sterling from day 1, Sancho is much better than Sterling was. His finishing is better, he's smarter and doesn't rely on pace to dribble opponents.

you are right. Clearly dribbles amazing but lacks judgement on when to pass and often waits until it is too late

He is just 17 dude, you can't expect him to have everything down path at this point. What we see here is a player that has legit world-class potential. Mainly because of his ridiculous technique and agility. Those are things that you don't see everyday, especially from an English player. Even the video shows him making some pretty quick and precise passes in the final third that led to goals. Usually flashy dribblers struggle with end-product, but the kid is already scoring great goals and making game-changing passes. Decision-making and composure can always be improved, supreme technique and confidence is something that you either have or you don't.

Not denying he is incredibly talented for his age and I'm sure he will become world class. But it must be noted that the final ball is a skill prem managers value, probably why Pep wont play him for a year or so
