I got all Janny Wurts books due to Phillip Chase’s recommendations and he has been an influence on all of my reading choices so Bravo to Book Tube-ing !
I'm waiting for my copy of Song of the Mysteries to arrive in Europe. Couldn't be more excited! This is one of my favorite stories of all time!! Janny Wurts, I hope the finishing of this series and people seeing everything you laid out come together will do you very well!!!
What AP and Janny said at the end about how some world building fails because it’s set piece and not thought through is my problem with the Stormlight Archives. I have never gotten past the first book even though the second is considered the best thing ever. It’s the world. It’s not logical or believable for me as I live in Florida and have been through several hurricanes including one that destroyed my house which took almost a year to rebuild. Civilization could not survive on the world he created. Period. The End. Certainly not in the way he is describing it. I just can’t get past it. I can suspend my belief and have read all the fantasy and sci-fi, but from my own personal experiences, this world is one of the most poorly thought out I have ever come across.
