They had CCTV, they had 3 police officers as witnesses and Yoongi voluntarily went to the police station and he told us he was going to get a fine and a probable suspension that night. This is the most incompetent police force who can't even close this 'open and shut case' and passed the buck to the prosecutors office. The whole thing is ridiculous. I hope Yoongi's health has not been too affected by this and that he speaks up about this mistreatment when he is out of the military. 💜
The police are too afraid to do their job correctly. They put on a show to please the antis. If it had been anyone else, they would have given him a fine, and the case most likely would have been closed. For some reason, the S. Korean police are so afraid to be criticized for doing their job without a show to please people. They need to realize that they are messing with people's lives. If it is a serious crime, investigate and arrest... if it's a simple fine issue, do so without all the theatrics.

It’s a waste of everybody’s time and tax payer’s money to even be heard in court. I truly pray that the court will close the case and just fine our Yoongi. Maybe the court could consider slapping penalties or fines to those media persons and outlets who caused malicious harm to Yoongi.

Bit of a silly thing to say, really. If you are moving along, by other means than your feet, it's classed as a vehicle of some sort. It doesn't matter which type it is, there are rules, and he broke them. Many years ago, I was posted over sea and we had cultural training before going, and one of the recommendations for Korea was for us to have a designated drinker since it would be expected that we keep up with them. I avoided visiting Korea during those 2 years just for that, as I would have traveled on my own. Of course that was before I discovered BTS and the Hallyu wave

His license was suspended, which is normal with a DUI, not taken away. Also, he is not having a trial. The prosecutors recommended only a fine and a judge just has to sign off on that now. It's just a legal procedure. Also, the other judge granted MHJ's (temporary) injunction, because they could not prove back then (yet), that her actions hurt Ador but admitted that she hurt Hybe. There are so many things related to all this to get angry about or even take legal actions, but please get your facts right.

South Korea has a priority problem. Why did they keep dragging this case when they have a more serious case like the new nth room, which have over 200k user and majority are minor which consisted of middle schoolers, high schoolers and even elementary schoolers, even prestigious university student are involved. They literally deepfake their own mother, sister ,classmate and colleagues. They even had the audacity to publicly post on how to delete the receipt of their doing. And even message some girls not to worried about getting deepfake casused they "ugly" like what? I felt like they really should focus on that and try to find out all the perpetrator on that case not on suga who already paid fine and apologize right after the incident happened and even apologize 3 more times.

Eventually police and media are using yoongi oppa's case for hiding different big scandals. Just because he is very famous celebrity but media did wrong and asking to leave group for just falling I mean if you're clumsy you can fall too. And another idol's controversy didn't got media's attention, hardly 15 articles were on that idol and media just got crazy with yoongi oppa's accident.

Can you actually believe the article? In the 3rd paragraph they state his BAC was .227%. Based on the cct footage showing how quickly he got up after dumping the kick board there is absolutely no way he was at .227% in fact he wouldn’t have been able to ride straight.

I have worked in the alcohol industry for more than 20 years and I can tell the difference between 0.1 and 0.2 BAC. The police said it is difficult to determine an exact number. Why? If there was a BAC done at the site it would be in the report. It is likely they did not have the equipment for this and Suga admitted to drinking alcohol. So they gave him a ticket and said he would have to come to the police station later. So it is doubtful they have a BAC reading.
Suspending his driver's license? But he was riding a scooter. I could understand maybe suspending his scooter license, if one was required, but driving a car and riding a scooter are two different things. This is ludicrous!!!

This whole situation is just to cover up some serious shit. I don't see how case simple as that is dragging so much. Other people are given fine, getting their license revoke and it takes few days and Yoongi is dragged like he end someone. This is what I'm thinking. This has to be a cover-up for something. There's an SM artist who has a much more serious and plausible case. There's also all sorts of political turmoil in SK, and their first lady had a scandal over her designer brands.

Hi, all the articles I just went through said that "On the 10th, the Seoul Western District Prosecutor’s Office, Criminal Division 2 (led by Chief Prosecutor Chu Hye Yoon), announced that BTS’s Suga had been summarily indicted." and then they all explain that : "A summary indictment is a process where the court imposes fines or penalties based on written documents rather than holding a formal trial.".

Is it just me that still in a stupor about this whole Suga affair, this is such ridiculousness I have ever seen, so much time spent on a stupid incident involving riding a skooter that did not harm anyone or property. The prosecutor issued a summary statement on Sugars case rather than a formal statement. A formal statement means Suga turns up and appears before the judge or judges. A summary means, just the paperwork is presented and the judge/judges make their ruling/fine. The big difference is because it’s a summary case, there will be no photo line because Suga does not need to be present. I bet the media and antis are spewing over that!

Suga was riding a scooter that required no license plate and is not considered an automobile. Allegedly he was inebriated so this is not DUI as he was not driving a automobile nor a scooter that required license plates.. To have his driving license suspended and now probably has to pay a fine. I find this to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!!!
South Korea, this is preposterous. That mobile device requires no registration and insurance or license to operate. Given, if a person does not posses a license and he was an ordinary person what would the police have done? Considering no one was hurt and nothing damaged? At best a stern warning is what they would have given.
Probably a fine. I'm guessing the license law might be like one with motorcycles. If someone gets a DUI on a motorcycle, they might also lose their car license.
I am absolutely floored that they are releasing his BA as 0.227%. almost all of the patients I had who had that kind of result were blacked out, or unable to stand or speak. Is it accurate? Or are they releasing more inaccurate info. I certainly hope this is quickly over. The need to do something about the alcohol culture in South Korea...the fact that they feel the need to drink until they are sloppy drunk and they glamorize it in all their dramas...bars, etc should be fined for over serving people they can visibly see are drunk.
Suga's scooter operated at the wattage of a toaster. He was on a wide sidewalk, with his helmet on, traveling at walking speed for 500 meters. Any judge or prosecutor who takes this to court should just resign in embarrassment now.
The only way I could see this going to trial is if Suga decided to dispute the suspension of his license. But if he is willing to take full responsibility and pay the fine, then there is no reason to drag it out in court, it would just be a huge waste of everyone's time.
Here in the UK as it doesn't require license to ride it or insurance you'd just get a stern telling off by the police officer as you don't require a Driving License to use one you'd never get your 'Driving License take away or even have points put on your license which puts your insurance up and if you get too many points on your Driving License you get a driving ban.

I use to be a drug and alcohol counselor, your body can get use to alcohol and can actually function at higher BAC’s. He could easily have been standing and functional. It doesn’t mean it was his BAC but because he’s small fewer drinks will give him a higher BAC.
When a person is indicted, they are given formal notice that it is believed that they committed a crime. The indictment contains the basic information that informs the person of the charges against them.
I keep seeing the BAC shared around and then imprisonment horribly mentioned. But i dont rememeber BAC being revealed. Maybe BH should reveal the BAC and BH should definitely sue all these articles who mention imprisonment after referring to BAC

almost over with. Losing his license depends on his BAC and how many times he has done it. THE POLICE REPORT WHEN IT FIRST HAPPENED SAID IT WAS 0.08% ON THE BLOW TEST AT THE SCENE. He can lose his license for 1-3 years. His BAC was released at the beginning but the haters started the 0.227% crap and everyone believed it. But when it first happened they did indeed say what it was.

Plus they continued on explaining what consequences could occur going over 0.2%. Hoping the Judge is fair and follows recommendations of Prosecutor, so it can end.
