Prosecutor on Feeding our Future juror bribe: 'Something out of a mob movie' 

It's possible another juror was bribed or threatened to give them the names. It wouldn't be hard to track jurors down even without a list. When I served on one it crossed my mind after we sat their and gave our names and had to tell personal details about ourselves so that the lawyers could decide who was chosen. It was a case with violence and I thought later as well that it would be easy for the defendant to send someone after us when we found him guilty. The family of the accused could seek revenge they could follow us out to our cars if they wanted to follow us home ect

Bribing a judge on a case is a crime. The judge accepting gifts from a "friend" is ethically questionable. That's why ethics requires reporting gifts. Thomas did not report or disclose gifts. Ethically wrong. Potentially criminal but need a connection to a case to be made. Scotus doesn't report to any ethics committee such as a law bar or judicial ethics committee. Impeachments requires high crimes, i.e. felony, treason, but not a simple misdemeanor. Need to connect to prove "bribery" beyond just unethical.

If you at the court, you don't need to see the list but her the number is called out during court. The family members are watching who number is assigned and they will pick a jury or the person on trial hears the numbers. Stay alert ⚠️ leaving and driving.

You are suggesting that the feds would have investigated for a bribe without the juror notifying the court. She probably will have to enter a witness protection program of some sort.

ANY citizen called to serve for jury duty should fear for their lives and those they love. The system, at least in NY is broken. When the "selection" is done before the accused, and the juror has to answer questions that would allow the criminals to wait outside their job to bribe or threaten them, we have a problem. The problem is compounded when the the jurors children's whereabouts are revealed during questioning. Even without specifics, it is not impossible in this age if technology, for the criminal to pinpoint where those kids could be "picked up" if the criminal isn't acquitted. What parent wouldn't save their kid even at the cost of their integrity. To fix this problem, you need to first fix the system. When selecting a jury keep the questions to "yes" or "no". The town where they live, where they work, whether they live alone and ANY information regarding their children should NOT be revealed. I'd put money on the fact that criminals have been getting to jurors for decades in NY, without anyone investigating. A single honest juror now, finally opens the discussion. Yes, that juror needs to be praised.Yes, they could have profited by taking the money, but chose to report it. So, lets not waste the gift given here by avoiding the discussion of how many others took the bribe. Or folded under the threats.
