Not enough info given to buyer or they can't absorb, info symmetry is a must, simplify use common language, use examples, avoid acronyms if necessary, use visuals/demo, trust in you

Hi Victor, Thanks for making great videos and practical tips for improving sales. I have a question, how to address the situation when the prospect tells you that his company is not ready for the product currently as it is too advanced technology for them adopt at this time. How to create urgency/need to buy the product in such a situation?

Wow! A company that ISN'T ready to leapfrog the competition? Interesting! If someone told me that my product was way to advance, I would interpret that as: a) It looks hard to implememt or b) It's more than what we need today! In the first case (a) I need to make the client feel good about how easy it will be to implement it. In the second case (b), I need to show the client who having this will help, but more importantly, how NOT HAVING IT will cost them time, money and marketshare in the future. Depending on the product, I would focus on creating urgency by tying their INACTION to the Value Trinity (see my other podcasts); how much revenue or marketshare are they losing by not doing this? How is this impacting their cost and their ability to compete? Without knowing your products specifics, this is much as I can offer you Chandan! VA

Easy access to information (i.e. we are one click away from anything) has killed the information asymmetry advantage. Many times, customers have a higher knowledge than the sellers (especially regarding the competitive intelligence).

Building trust is about demonstrating 3 things: Under the customer's business, Understand the changes in the market and, you know your product/service. Demonstrating to the client that you understand what's going on in their business and the market and then providing the right solution = higher close rate. VA

I love the pod cast on when your customer say I need to think about it. I am trying that one tomorrow. I would think the delivery on how you say that is the key. that's the part I am a little concerned with. I don't want to come across too aggressive.

You're on point Jennifer. Delivery, so that it feels natural AND you feel comfortable saying really matters. Practice it in your own words and 'phrase-ology' until it doesn't feel forced or "sales-ey". :-) VA

Dear Victor, Awesome video and advice on how to respond to these objections. I subscribed to you instantly! May I ask what do we say when even after achieving information symmetry, the client still wishes to compare products from different companies even though they are very similar? And once they get out the door, we know that that sale is gone. Let's say that fit, function and finance are all green ticks as well. Thank you so much for these videos!

You need to answer three big questions: 1) How are they performing with their social media lead generation system (ie., how many leads are they generating)? 2) How much more can you improve OVER their current system? 3) Can you prove it; do you have a client is performing very well? If you want someone's business you have to show them a) There will be a GAIN b) The gain with you will be bigger and c) that it'll be EASY to switch to you. That's the formula! VA
