When around 10-12 years old, I jumped out of a tree onto a broken cup, cutting and severing an artery in left foot. Luckily, my great grandmother grabbed the black pepper tin, opened the foot back and poured it in, then held firmly and bandaged, driven 8 miles to hospital. Effectively congealed the blood. 15 stitches later hospital for 4 days, then resting for the 6 weeks of school holidays. Happened 65 years ago, foot is one full size less. First time doctor's had heard of using pepper. Saved my life.
You will never grow old if you are doing something that makes you feel good. I can't wait to see your videos for years to come. Good prospecting in the future.
Hi there, I really enjoy your videos, thanks for taking us along. As for the egg trick, 😄 we are from the bush too Botswana (but now in the UK) we always use egg and curry powder, but if we could see a leak in the radiator and we had soap (bar of soap like lifebuoy or star) chop up a piece mx with little water to make almost a paste, pot over the leak wait for it to harden and then do egg and curry powder into radiator, top up water and you should make another couple 100kms. Keep smiling guys, and keep videos coming. 😊
Just found this channel 2 weeks ago, subscribed right away and got all caught up on videos, nice surprise when this popped up, thanks for your hard work, much appreciated and will continue to look forward to future adventures!
What a great trip Guy's, I have used pepper to seal small radiator leaks, but the eggs were a new one, makes perfect sense though, Clint is a true bush mechanic
What an awesome journey you had. And your home on wheels did you right. A bit of maintenance will have her back in shape for the next grand adventure. Peace and Love.
I really enjoyed your trip prospecting and the finds, eggs and pepper are an old fix usually for a radiator leak not a hose. I am sure many of your viewers are envious of your prospecting trip.
A great excursion ❣️🤠😎🐾🐾🐾🐾🙏🤞✌️🤩🤡 So glad you had a great time and loved seeing the dogs excited to see you 🍾🥂🍾❣️ Great memories, thank you for sharing ❤✌️
That weird rock with the lumpy texture almost looks like fossilized dinosaur skin. Now THAT would be extremely valuable, if it were actual dinosaur skin!!!
Awesome Chrissy👌. Both of you are so genuine and heartfelt. We love seeing you in your element and the joy you have in your gold finds and bush environment. We just finished watching a couple of episodes of Australian gold rush and found it's so scripted and contrived. However your show is so refreshing. There's nothing fake about you at all. Especially your camera work no need to script or intoduce false drama. We wish you all the happiness and joy in your life choice. P.s we get it as we spent 6 years full-time prospecting over there over 40 years ago. So we know the ups and downs of life and prospecting. Were way too old to pick up a detector again now. However we would love to, but old age won't be cheated. Keep loving the lifestyle, not the money.
A really good trip in the end. Phil did well, hope he was pleased. It was a superb patch you found all in all. Just a shame someone else came across it between your trips or you might have had a bigger haul. Certainly bigger than most we've seen you come across in the past Krissy. Well done, camper van. A little bit of TLC on that and then hopefully plan the next trip. You certainly had some good cooking going on. Great stuff, guys. Marvellous.
Great vid Krissy !! You guys definitely "keeping it real " ! Love every aspect of your channel , and Clint really getting better at his parts also . Was soooo happy to see the reactions from your dogs ❤ - they are absolutely 100 % love 🥰 Always looking forward to your next episode 😊🥰😍
Great trip. The new motor home looks like a winner. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us all I really enjoy it when I see you find good gold. See you next time enjoy your time at home. ❤❤❤
Thanks for another great video. The dogs really missed you. Looks like your van is a winner, much more comfortable for you. Looking forward to your next trip.
Having lived in the bush I have never heard of the egg and pepper trick but it might save my butt one day. Love ya work and sharing your journey!! Well done on the trip!!
So glad you guys had a decent prospecting trip with good gold. Lots of rain on its way for a few days, was a good idea to head home before getting stuck out there... Can't wait to see you getting back out on the patch soon... Thanks for your videos... May your detectors scream loudly...😊
Love your videos. Happy to see you found a good mate. Im stunned the egg trick worked without plugging everything up. I keep praying you two find a 500 ounce reef deposit. Good Luck !!!
Hi Chrissy....very old school with the eggs and pepper....living on a remote sheep and cattle station in SA, pepper was definitely used as an emergency
