If she had a pimp when she was 13 she’s not a prostitute… she’s a victim of human trafficking 😤

When we talk about being a “prostitute” at 13 years old - we are actually talking about a child who has been a victim of child sexual exploitation. We should be making this clear in our terminology. A pimp is an organised criminal who should be prosecuted and the clients jailed. Children cannot consent when they are being enforced to do something. Hoping she can find the help/support she needs to find freedom from this oppression!

I came from a wonderful family. Fell into prostitution and stripped for 20 years. Drugs alcohol total insanity. Raped, bitten, lit on fire, beat up, guns to my head and knives to my throat and left for dead. It's a life that just gradually happened to me and then it was the norm. I was able to switch off emotions whenever I needed to. I had a madam for years until I went out on my own. Lived that life for 20 years. Thank God I survived. Now I am a proud woman in recovery and I wouldn't change a thing about my past. I get her totally.

She held her shit together for 25 minutes before shedding a tear. Through everything she spoke of and recalled. That's strength.

She may not be well educated...but she has more wisdom, heart and empathy than a lot of well educated people...

She talked about herself and acknowledged how tough her life is and yet I didn't sense any victim speak from her. There is dignity in her, acceptance and honesty about the circumstances. My heart broke when she said her brother died 3 years ago and a minute earlier she said she started taking drugs about 3 years before. Take care Exotic, I hope life turns for you and you achieve the goals you have set for yourself.

I've seen so many of the videos on this channel and have to say I've learned more than taking a class on understanding what happens to people. It feels like a AA meeting of people who have really worked on themselves as much as they can in their own ways. Honesty like this is hard to come by. It's rare to see such care in interviewing people who have been through so much trauma. Wish I was able to tell my story this well composed. It's impressive.

It’s so hard that more support isn’t available in the US for children leaving the care system. In the UK, children leaving care at 18 are entitled to support from their local authority until they are at least 21. This can be through being paid each month to stay in further education, accommodation, free education and continued advise and support. ❤ I really hope the US brings in more care and support for children in care and leaving care.

As a mother to a daughter, my heart aches that she wasn't given the opportunies and protection every child deserves. She is so beautiful and dignified despite how harshly life has treated her.

Raped starting at the age of 13. I can't fathom the horror she had to go through being abused by grown men when she was a baby. It hurts to know so many young women are used and tossed aside. I hope that somehow her life can turn around for her benefit and for her kids. She deserves it, her strength is commendable.

For a young woman with little education she was very articulate. There’s a real sense of sadness that she knows this is the life that may well cost her own.

I’m at a loss for words . This young lady has layers of trauma like an onion, each layer makes you want to cry more. I pray that she will listen to her inner voice and have the resources to thrive, not just survive.

I was busy in school and had my first crush at the age of 13. It's really heartbreaking that her childhood was taken away too soon. Likewise, I felt grateful for the family that I have after watching this interview. I hope that someone would rescue her and that her life would get better.

What’s with the foster care system destroying individuals? She deserved to be sheltered and protected. I hope she can leave this lifestyle, she’s so young and well-spoken, there are so many opportunities out there for her.

Everyone talking about the pimps and drugs but let’s talk about the childhood trauma that started all of this for her. The real root of the problem is America’s foster care system. Maybe if we started by fixing that then we can prevent more of this in the future. Update: I’m glad that I was able to start a meaningful discussion wether or not you agree with where the “root” of the problem is. One thing I want to address is the question of how to fix the foster care system. Here’s my suggestion 1. Lee siblings together 2. Reduce, eliminate or demand more accountability when it comes to financial assistance to foster patents. So many children are abused in the system because the foster parents took in a child for the money and not because they genuinely want to help a child. Some foster parent get anywhere between $400- $600 per month for each child. Either reduce or eliminate that and there won’t be an incentive for people to invite children into their homes that they don’t want. Or Have foster parents to present receipts and bills to account for every dime they receive on behalf of the child. 3. Wellness checks inside the home on a monthly basis. Or require that each child in foster care see a therapist or a regular. Therapist and psychiatrist must report any abuse and it’s a great way to check the wellness of the child. If I’m not mistaken foster care children can get free medical. Not sure though. And for those who say the bio parents are the root. I say I partially agree but have to disagree because if that were true then children adopted as babies would have the same trauma. Or every child who had divorced parents or a single parent would have the same trauma. Point is if you watch enough of these interviews you will find that foster care is the common denominator. Children who have been physically, sexually, and emotionally abused in foster care have a very high chance of being in a situation like this. These are just some suggestions. Let’s keep the conversation going. How can we make our foster care system better?

This is heartbreaking but eye opening. Such a gorgeous woman who was born into such an unfortunate situation and life. She’s just had to survive the best way she knew how with the circumstances she was given. Definitely gives perspective and makes you not take the things we often take for granted….

I haven't watched in a while. Some of these really tear you up. It's easier to feel for a pretty girl, but what did it to me on this one, was when you asked if she had any friends.

It’s crazy to think at 13 I was going to watch the latest twilight film with my mam yet across the world this girl was going through things I can’t even imagine! Really puts into perspective how lucky we are to be born into the families and lives we have. I don’t know how she survives the environment she has had to endure since birth but I admire her greatly for it.

I could see this girl being like a ballerina in another world, raised properly. She has a grace about the way she carries herself despite being rough around the edges, and a certain appearance which is lovely. Even her tats are placed and designed so lovely.

This one made me teary eyed, she deserves such a different life than this. If she would of had the support system as a child and someone would of given her that love and protection, she could of had a lot better life. It’s so sad, I hope she finds her way out of it someday. Praying! 🙏🏻

I used to strip from ages 18 to 24 and I met A LOT of women with similar stories. It's disgusting that people turn up their noses and view these women as worthless criminals when they were failed by their families, their communities, the "justice" system and society in general from childhood. The lack of social safety net and strong community connections is why this keeps happening.

But not everything everybody should know. Because some people don't have the same intentions and will use it to their benefit, and your weakness."- I didn't figure that last part out until much later in life

When she talks about being in love, it reminds me of my mom. She was married to my abusive, alcoholic biologic for 15 years. When she finally met her husband, my dad, it took her years of therapy to accept that she deserved to be treated well and with love. Her story makes me sad. She also could not accept true, respectful love because it wasn’t what she knew. She may have thought, like my mom, that they’re unworthy or that there’s something weak about the man because he’s not abusive.

This girl is so strong. She held it together the entire interview until the end when she talked about her kids. You have a lot to offer this world baby girl. You can do this. We all believe in you. Sending you love.

Let's ask ourselves this: Who are the men PAYING to use victims??? Grown men paid to have sex with her when she was 13. This is common. These men are our neighbors, husbands, boyfriends, fathers, sons, brothers, friends.... Do you really know the people in your life? Do you hold them accountable, or do you just turn a blind eye and convince yourself that they're "nice guys"? It's not only the pimps that take advantage of children and sex workers; the "Johns" are just as guilty.

Did think the interviewer was really asking leading questions and sort of putting words in her mouth. Didn't notice it that much in other interviews but it felt a bit judgemental. People who aren't prepared to take care of and love their child really shouldn't have any, she was set up for a tough life from the beginning. Truely hope you find love and peace in your life❤

She comes across as a very intelligent young woman despite only having a middle school education. My heart hurts for her and hearing the sorrow she's walked through all her life. She's very honest and well spoken. As a mom and grandma, I just want to hug her and hope someone gives her a chance to see her precious value. Her label doesn't have to be "prostitute. " She deserves the labels of " courageous " and " survivor."

She talks about her and what happened to her almost without any emotions, but she cracks immediatelly when she only thinks that something similar might happen to her kids. That shows how much she cares about them, it's such a pity she couldn't be the mother she wants to be, but let's hope she will soon. And that she meets someone who she can really trust.

I'm surprised she didn't even finish middle school, because she seems very intelligent and articulate. She's such a beautiful young woman, and it's disgusting how grown men can groom and take advantage of a CHILD like that. She's sadly a product of her environment, and that's not her fault. She's worth so much more, and I hope she's able to get off the streets and blossom into who she's really meant to be!❤ Edit: No I don't think intelligence comes solely from schooling, but it does play a large part. I'm not basing my opinion on just her level of education, but everything that she has been through in her life. I think she's impressive and seems to be a very strong woman!

What people in these comments don’t realize is that the interviewer is very smart with the way he asks his questions. He doesn’t “say much” or give advice because these people leave with their own answers replaying in their head. When they answer these questions out loud, and hear it out loud, it may have been the first time they said those things, and therefor it opens their eyes to reality without the interviewer giving his peace of mind at all. Sometimes all it takes for a person to flip their life around is to realize where they are at in the first place and people can tell them they are not in the right place all they want. But it takes them thinking it on their own to make change. This interview wasn’t to give the girl advice, it’s to help her look into herself further, and THAT can change a persons life.

She’s very well spoken for someone who had so little education. It’s a pity that the system failed her early on, and so she didn’t have the basic opportunities that so many of us take for granted. She’s still young though, and I hope that she’ll be able to create a better life for herself and her kids.

I'm half way through and feeling so sad for this young woman's situation. It's such a stark contrast to the interview I just watched with "sex artist" Frenchie, who got into it as an adult. Asriah was only 13 when she started. She's still so small and vulnerable. It's very worrying. I hope she's able to move on from this lifestyle, though I suspect she'll need a lot of support.
