YES! I love these trailers. They really do feel like such a natural glimpse into the world of Star Rail, which makes the world feel even more alive

I would LOVE different SAM suits for Firefly. That would be sick 🤩

@@himetsukichYeah the chonky one can be Preservation Firefly, the one with the shoulder cannon could be Nihility Firefly, and the red one can be Hunt Firefly. Firefly would get a good character arc about carrying the wishes and dreams of her siblings and Mihoyo gets to keep making money off of an extremely popular character and keep her relevant in the meta for years to come

Type V is giving off unique vibes, bet she comes into play in some way when we dive into glamoth or deep firefly lore

Glamoth no longer exist but firefly never says that she is the only survivor so maybe we could find another SAM or even PEM (Personal Escort Model) in the future

I can definitely see the Evangelion and 86 comparisons as well haha I think Darling in the Franxx is just more fresh in my recent memory :3

@@himetsukich That's completely fair! I came back to add some context to my message and wondered what happened. No more links None of what is below are spoilers btw. Just hidden in text form in relic sets. To add context, I think that the person in the Mech 5 is Titania. Glamoth is an ancient civilization that disappeared many amber eras ago, fighting the swarm. They created genetically modified soldiers, who did not have the ability to dream, and had extremely short life spans. Their vitality was tied to their SAMs, and hence why it was prohibited for them to step out of their suits. The first "Super Soldier" of sorts is Titania, which the empire made some sort of a faux empress with no powers. All the others (including firefly) are clones derived from her. Titania can communicate telepathically with the clones, and much like your reference of Darling in the Franxx, they all long for freedom. We don't know how Firefly managed to survive thousands of years, nor do we know what happened to Titania or the other SAMs. But Glamoth loses the war, and the civilization is wiped out. Another point of interest, is Acheron mentions how she mentions she met some SAMs in the 2.3 livestream trailer, guiding them like she's guided Tiernan. That raises the question of how old Acheron actually is if she met SAMs who must have died multiple amber eras ago. I'd happily watch an entire anime of what happened in Glamoth.

Yes! I can totally see the 86 comparisons as well! I thought of Darling in the Franxx, but others have mentioned 86 and Evangelion, which both make sense haha
