@Habiba Maumoniat - being his first time I thought he was great. It is not ridiculous to brush your pet's teeth. Our vet told us that we need to brush our pets teeth and showed us how to do it and what to use.

@Habiba Maumoniat - I think she has a pretty good handle on how to brush and bet she would graciously accept non-fluoride animal toothpaste if one were sent as a gift for the monkeys. I would think they do not get much of somethong like that where they live.

Amanda Gross - He is with his mother and this is what she wants him to learn. You know the saying of "ain't nobody happy if mama is not happy"? You must not have the English translation on the bottom of the video as she said this was his very first time. I thought they both were smashing - did a fabulous job - especially if the first time. I used to brush my pets teeth all the time. It is very good to do.

@@viewerdotcomviewerdotcom2926 - when one adopts an animal frequently even a vet will put in the record the human's name as "mom". It is how it is done. Of course they did not physically birth the animal but they are now the ones responsible for the animal, hence the reference to "mom".

Amanda Gross - and if you had an animal and had been responsible enough to take it to the vet your vet most definitely would have told you to brush their teeth and that pinching their nose would assist in your being able to do that. A vet will also advise the "mom" to do that when giving medicine/ a pill - a pinch or to lightly blow on their nose/face.

Jewels - you do every time you brush unless your toothpaste is fluoride free but then there are other chemicals most of those toothpastes do not tell us about in them that are in small enough quantities they do not have to list.

Asians are wary of flouride and in most of the asian countries it is banned. Unless you saw the fine print and it is American toothpaste with flouride?

no comparison. Hua Hua was starved, beaten and tortured daily in her sad short life. She likely died of starvation and being so under developed. She may not be perfect here but at least she tries and doesn't intentionally hurt any of them.

@Tim Petty - the video showed her brushing the teeth and at first for about two passes she may have been on lips but the monkey opened his mouth when he figured out what she wanted from him. "Scrub the hell out of its lips"? A bit of a drama queen there you think?

People get jobs thinking they are going to do this or that and make plans in their lives to accommodate those new jobs and then find out it was nothing like they were told - after they already made arrangements with others. She can not go back and take her monkey back after she already gave it to her uncle as she was very gracious to give it to him and I think she made mention there were other optjons she could consider but did not. This way she could continue to visit the monkey as well as be a woman known for honouring her word. I had some jobs - mostly when younger, that where not at all as had been explained and although a short loss of pride never had me break my word to another regarding arrangents made as a result.

sheremadness - no, not ridiculous at all. I brushed the teeth of all of my pets as per my vet who also told me what kind of a brush to use as well as toothpaste and he said human toothpaste could be used, especially 'natural; and or baby toothpaste.

@@dr.donnawalter4380 I`s ok to brush the teeth. But I never recommend toothpaste for people,not even children`s product`s to the animals. And only tootbrush for animals,or fingertootbrush ( microfiber).

Truly wild animals that roam and live freely in our ever shrinking wild places could someday be gone. Not to mention the risks associated with keeping wild animals as pets. Anida Westbrook - as well as my vet did also. Since I spent time, and still do, in mission/non-profit work, buying special biscuits was cost prohibitive. Even making them from scratch can become quite expensive leaving a bigger mess to clean up than simply brushing their teeth proved to be - especially after the animals get the hang of it I think they like the extra special one on one attention and used to line up for their teeth brushing - even the cats!

Ollie The Monkey - for clarity - you know - language barrier and all - you may want to be specific in what you are saying she is doing that is "no way to treat a monkey". Even I am not clear and I can speak the language. As a subscriber to your channel I also am at a loss as to what you may be referring to. Thank you.
