All this what you all are doing don't make since for is a lot of people's in Jamaica don't get back any light from the hurricane .blacking the road can't help.it is not government send the hurricane.it is nature.all we have to do is thank god our life 🙏 spear.and wait on the J.P.S men them to fix back the light.
Stupidness! Blocking the road and starting a fire will only cause further damages. Then later on, there will be more protest saying the roads are bad. Think people, there are many other ways to gain attention to this problem.
Some body needs to go into the rich area and see if they have light because is only the poor them treat like garbage. Leave her alone make she talk. Most of us black people need to start speaking up more.
I do understand you all plight, but this is not a good situation. By burning fire in the road it’s going to ruin the asphalt so that’s double trouble. And then when the road is bad you all going to block the road again. Lots of people don’t have electricity because of Beryl.
Them need to go in the rich community and see if they have light because them always take care of them and treat poor people like garbage. Leave her make she talk.
@@sweetsoursop1129 Could not have said it any better . It is the poor that sufferer and not the ones in the rich communities because they are taken care of first . Dem get di bread, and di poor get di crumbs .
The whole situation is frustrating, but what does blocking the road really accomplish? In order to get the power back on they still have to clear the mess in order to get the work done. People over Portland and other areas get worse of a beating from Beryl. JPS workers out there working hard some of them may have damaged homes...no light/water and out here still doing their jobs Overall people have to be patient ....they could be going through what the SVG and those islands are facing.
Unuh can climb Light Post? Supposed the whole place did mash up Jps should mek unuh stay fi last Unuh can't protest against Beryl but a Jps unuh have strength fah
Agreed 100% Come on guys this is natural vibes, the entire Island is in trouble.. you have to give the man them some time to repair the country... ground God get a generator and give the people them some time to repair the country.. imagine you crying for light I see the big man Mr Smith interview a lady in st bess who don't even have a house for her self and about 4 to 5 kids along with her what if st bess and the rest of Jamaica doing the same stupidness like you'll.. gash man .. next time ground God take the back stage and hold a vibes remember you or on icon now who representing Jamaica on a international level vía social media... Big up your self God is always good to you my friend..take care of the baby and stay away from that kinda vibes especially when there is so much to give thanks for,, new baby,,,new home,, despite all breadfruit, mangos and ackee available for days ...I did posted some servival tips how to preserved mangoes and breadfruit to last on your video roasting breadfruit with chicken back and I am sure by the new house is very cool especially at night ...no ac or fan needed..❤ ❤️🇯🇲🇻🇬🙏✌️✌️✌️💯
Stop lying, she did not let down anyone. More Jamaican need to stand up for their rights. Big up groungy nuff respect. Someone needs to go into the rich community and see if they have light because they always treat them better than the black people in Jamaica.
@@NATURALMYSTICMK you need to go into the rich community and see if they have light because they treat black people in Jamaica like garbage and they treat the rich community very well.

I don't agree with the road block. However, I understand their frustration because Jamaica is really 🔥 at this time. Hope power is restore soon in all areas
Jamaican block road for all kinds of foolishness and the only people that it effect is other people in the same boat as themselves why is it that Jamaican don't like themselves 😊😢
Why should they feel ashamed? She did the right thing and more Jamaican need to speak up. Someone needs to go into the rich community and see if they have light because they always treat them better than poor people and they are not complaining. Big up groungy nuff respect.
You advocated for your town and went viral, Groundy! Maybe you got them there quicker. I posted on the FB pages with your news reel that they should follow and support you and your Boss. Sorry, you're going through this as well as everyone else in the situation!
Most of uno live a foreign weh a talk so nothing nah bother uno a modern time now Gilbert a from 1988 now is 2024 check that 36 years things and time more modernized JPS nuh ramp fe charge some big bill a month so they should have things put in place for the disaster like this worst the type of country/island they operate business they need to do better
Unno people a foreign can you go without electricity in the winter. Them know how hot Jamaica is? .....pure chatting. You don't have to be in the position to understand and sympathize with other people. You guys are too judgemental and love to pick up fe government and authority. One Ground 'gud.
Look pon nonsense an him family natural disaster you demontrating who gonna unblocked when jps comes you all should be thankful fr lifecwhy she kept repeating that she sleeping naked annoying set
While the means of protest maybe distasteful to some it is clear that no assessment of damages or answers have been given to this community. This is a last not a first resort. Politicians are fast to visit when they need votes but where are they now. Lical councilors and area reps to get andwers. That is what they want. I bet they get answers now. Horrible it had to reach this level.
Of course people have to learn to speak out because if they don't the JPS company will not hear and drag their feet, it's time for them to recruit on short contract pass workers they laid off to do some of the emergency repairs and get thing back to normal.
I understand how you feel. Virgin Islands had several major storms. One, I didn't have power for a little over a year, the next one was 9 months. People were chopping the down wires, making it more difficult to restore power.
There is a lot of judgment in this comment section. I'm sure the majority have the luxury of lights, water, and food. No one said she was ungrateful for life, nor did she block the road, and I never heard Colaz tell you that she embarrassed him. Way too much. I believe they're just attempting to bring attention to their community as often the poorer districts are last. Whether they fix it or not, there should be government reps to inform them of their status. Communication and transparency are key in a natural disaster.
Everybody in the comment section a gwan like heat nice she affi talk in jamaica if you nuh tek action nothing nah go done big up to ground gad uno deh yah a gwan like a she har self go block the road bout how she mek colaz look bad thats her personality the woman nah pretend to be someone else speak your mind ground gad you're a citizen of this country and a resident of Dover St Mary i applaud you
All this time without lights cant be fun for any of you i have no idea how you are coping I guess they are doing the best they can but saying that is no help to you I suppose this Hurricane has a lot to answer for I seriously hope you get power again soon 🙏🙏🙏
Ground God for Mayor for Dover! There is power in unity! Time for them to restore the power GG. It's ridiculous. Clearly, there is no proper plan for restoration after the passage of Beryl! Those persons who homes were not damaged to prevent restoration should have their power returned now man! I see in Colaz videos man climbing ladder on pole in this day and age...where is the bucket trucks JPS...you need to be working smarter not harder. When are they going to call for outside help to help with the restoration? The safety of all Jamaicans is paramount! The beauty about RU-vid and all the Vloggers we can see what is truly taking place and its a crying shame!
Perhaps be grateful you are alive and maybe try giving back to folks less fortunate. Clearly, the government has failed to upkeep the country's electrical infrastructure, so unfortunately, it will take some to safely resume. My advice is to do what you can to cope for now.
Who is the representative in the Dover st Mary and Portland area to addressed these issues with the jps authorities. Plus you all have to be patience eeh sah, for other areas are more affected than many, so can't be unruly and rebellious in order to get the process of electricity For JPS will still be sending the bill whether light or no light.
After Beryl I had to sleep one night in a slab top n heat nearly kill mi. Couldnt sleep n u cnt leave ur windows open because of the criminals em 😢😢 it rough.
Come on guys, you can't expect everything to be perfect straight away after the hurricane Beryl passed. Things will become more difficult and we need to understand and know how to cope with difficulties/issues instead of complaining. Otherwise, our health and happiness would be seriously affected 😔.
