The only ignorance in this video is being expressed by the CPP Party and their supporters. In a true democracy, such a mass protest would lead to major changes in government. Yet the CPP continues to brush such issues aside and perpetuates the problems in Cambodian society. If any violence were to result from this peaceful protest, it is likely to be instigated by the government in power, not the CNRP. Therefore, I applaud the efforts of Sam Rainsy in testing the legitimacy of democracy in a peaceful manner.
Blocking the street is in no way peaceful. There may not be physical violence but they're hurting the innocent businessmen on those streets. Sam Rainsy knows this, but still push the protest into the main road without regards for the well-being of innocent people, and the economy. This means he doesn't care about the people or the country. All he wants is power. You need to understand that these people are doing something illegal. Please educate yourself more about politic and leadership. You can't expect to change the government by protesting like that. What 100,000 people wants doesn't equal to what the whole country wants. If you think Hun Sen should resign because of this protest then you haven't think clearly or far enough yet. What happen after Hun Sen resign? Who gonna be prime minister? Sam Rainsy? And then what if Hun Sen gather 100,000 people to protest too? Sam Rainsy has to resign?
Seyha, isn't police brutality on the innocents no way peaceful?. Speaking of illegal this Regime have a very long list of it, do you even care?. The Khmer people already educated themselves on politic and leadership this why they're having this protest. How do you know for sure is just a 100,000? seems like the number keeps on growing. Khmer People doesn't fall for the CPP hopeless preaching anymore, Seyha. Let's just hopes Hun Sen can find that much amount of Khmer to protest....But I'm sure he can have Youns to come in on Khmer behalf. That is mostly his supporter.

Look at the US or any other developed country and see how they do a protest. They never block roads, and disrupting people's business like that because it's illegal and punishable by law. Furthermore, the fact that you believe a politician and fight for his course is proof that you don't know anything about politic. All politician lies. You should never believe what a politician say until you see the proof. So far there is no evidence whatsoever regarding the unfairness of the election. All i see is just words coming out of Sam Rainsy's mouth claiming that it is unfair. And as history tells me, Sam Rainsy is not an honest person at all. Actually, he lies a lot so people need to be very skeptical about what he says. People still don't understand what free speech is. They just follow their leader like mindless minions doing illegal thing without knowing. You and all these people seem to think that you're just exercising free speech, but sorry you're wrong. Yes, free speech means you can freely express your opinion, but you have to do it without violating other people's rights and disrupting the peace of the country otherwise it's illegal. The proper way to conduct the protest is to find a place that you can legally gather then you can shout whatever message you want to say. I don't know the full story about the police brutality, but Prime Minister's job is not controlling individual police. If there are police misconducts, the PM can punish the head of police department and fire the individual police, but he can't stop it before it happen. You should not use it as a reason to blame the PM. Just saying that it's a bad reason. About the Vietnamese, I still haven't seen a proper statistic showing the amount of illegal immigrant yet, so it's not right to make judgement based on unestablished facts. However, if it's really true then Hun Sen need to give a proper answer to the issue. but before we have a solid evidence i can't comment on the issue.
Vira Yatta actually i do know what poverty is like. i've worked with both the poor people and the government when i was leading an independent research about land issues. the difference between you and me is that i have seen the whole story, and you have only see one side.
Bora M wrong. i know about those issues. the problem is there is no research so far that provide any analysis on the damage that it can cause to the country. you don't know for sure that it's really a threat or not. second and more importantly, are you sure that what you're doing is the solution to the problem? how do you know?
That was back then, in 2018 Hun Sen cracked down on opposition parties. Some of them were arrested and jailed. It's a lose lose situation for opposition parties. A dictator will never give up his power until the day he dies. After his death, his son(s) will take over the country and continue to rule.
