Same experience with adoption after 12 years of prayers. When I changed my prayer to be a mother instead of to become pregnant, I was holding my son in my arms within a year. During my prayer to Blessed Mother, my prayer changed to become a mother & the sun changed position in the sky & lit up the face of the Virgin Mary in a most beautiful way. That was 36 years ago. Sometimes God’s greatest gifts are unanswered prayers & I actually know why now. God knew best.

The Church substituted Sunday for Saturday, because Christ rose from the dead on a Sunday, and the Holy Ghost descended upon the apostles on a Sunday. Q. By what authority did the church substitute Sunday for saturday? A. The church substituted Sunday for Saturday by the plentitude of that divine power which Jesus Christ bestowed upon her. Q. Non Catholic Christians are like Muslims...we Catholics on the other hand are open minded if someone we knew want to convert into another religion we only pray for them that they'll find what they're looking for.

@@chwedl13 I was born more than 50 years ago and raised in Spain, a catholic country. I was not taught to hate protestants. On the contrary, we were told to pray for them. When I grew up and started to listen to protestants on the net I could not believe my ears. They believe lies about us. Lies which are not that dificult to check if they want to.

Another explanation to add is that to believe heresy requires a commitment and confirmation bias. The reasons people believe heresies can include some personal, private, internal experience like gnostics and the LDS seek-which Joshua Charles explained on Catholic Answers how John Calvin made the same mistake in a recent series of articles.
