People who live and shop Philly don't want a 76er building in China town ‼️ Put in China town what sivers us and the people who shop there ‼️NOT A new place for crime in Philly..we are just getting a less crime rate in the working ladies and guys in center city ‼️A black mail of city employees is down, ‼️Court dates will be a problem for the people who live and work in Philly just saying We can keep Philly working with out the 76er building and keep courpet building buyers out of our cities making taxes and other costs too high for where we live ‼️China Town is a great part of what is going on in all of North Philly Germantown and West Philly and South Philly are being pushed out too .We're seeing the connection of it all ‼️We're watching the Mayer and city council ‼️We put you in and we will take you out for your VOTE 2024
That will never happen. This city is one of the most corrupt in the country. If God came down from the heavens and said he was running as a Republican they would still vote Democrat. We unfortunately have a ton of uninformed and politically uneducated people who will every 4 years belive the lies they spew out. And they will tow the line. Philly is the best example for sheepole. Most aren't independent thinkers but a collective of yes men.
They see it coming.. called 15 minute cities.. they want everyone out of their cars and riding bikes taking public transportation..crime is let go to achieve that.
Center city is already congested. Why would you be putting an arena here? People who live in Center City don't what a bunch of young people hanging around, it makes them feel unsafe. Why don't you build it in the hood. Instead of turning everything that closes down into apartments for the rich, build an arena instead.
DC has a stadium in their downtown theres no congestion! Stop with the scare tactics! 99% of people would take public transportation! Stop being a typical philadelphia grump impeding progress!
They “hear” the concerns and then do whatever they want regardless. Put the stadium in Jersey for a change. The people of Chinatown clearly don’t want it. Their voices should be heard. They got a better shot with Republicans if they want to be heard. An entire lifetime in a democratic city you can start to see and understand how the corrupt system works. Government Works For The People not the other way around. Chinatown, hold their feet to the fire until you get what you want!!!
I totally agree. Born and raised in Philly and still here. Have been a Republican all my life since Reagan was President. And I watched this city decay dramatically over decades. 70+ years of one party rule needs to change. But the sheepole hear are too blinde to see. Not many independent thinkers here. But a lot of yes men that tow the line. And then cry and wonder why nothing gets better.
It won’t work!!!!!!!!! Y’all gonna be sorry. Just like your mayor who’s sorry now that she took that job. 😢 Guess she also….. didn’t see it coming. Curb the violence in this city? I don’t THINK so !!!!!
More than 50% of people that attend 76er games, live outside the city. An Arena in the middle of a crowded for people that don't live in the city is LUDICROUS! The city planning commission has to be on vacation 🤔
Placing 2 blocks of ramshackle buildings as an obstacle to a major center city economic project is ridiculous. If anything ,the new Arena will bring those restaurants more business.
Isn’t she the one that quoted, I can’t believe what you say when I see what you do, and the power of the people is stronger than the people in power?!?!🙄yet here we are. Affordable housing in center city🤣🤣🤣🤣THATS DIABOLICAL!!!
I WOULD SUPPORT THE ARENA if they only bought air rights and that building it would tear down only a few buildings in a two to four block radius at the corners then build the area above the existing Chinatown. Why does the arena need to level Chinatown? Build it over the buildings and make everyone happy. Other than that, I oppose it.
@studivan your right about it isn't a government problem. But we do need a Republican Mayor for a change. Same party rule for 70+ years and the same sad results.
This city of Philadelphia needs saving already this will bring gentrification which helps cleaner streets fights crime money and ppl coming in not leaving!
!!I recently sold some of my long-term position and currently sitting on about 250k, do you think Nvidia is a good buy right now or I have I missed out on a crucial buy period, any good stock recommendation on great performing stocks or Crypto will be appreciated.
I managed to grow a nest egg of around 120k to over a Million. I'm especially grateful to Adviser Ruth Ann Tsakonas, for her expertise and exposure to different areas of the market.
Without a doubt! Ruth Ann Tsakonas is a trader who goes above and beyond. she has an exceptional skill for analyzing market movements and spotting profitable opportunities. Her strategies are meticulously crafted based on thorough research and years of practical experience.
The stadium is not even in Chinatown its 11th and market. Chinatown is two blocks away! Also DC snd NYC have stadiums in their mid towns theres no traffic! 99% of goers you public transportation!
@@edr.3229 dude suburban station which holds every suburban and New Jersey line literally is inside the stadium! Seriously you gotta stop this nonsense protesting just to protest culture! There is literally no reason to build this. Nearly every major city in America has stadiums downtown!!
If you don’t live in Philly, you shouldn’t comment, building an Arena in Chinatown is a recipe for disaster, our roads leadin to and from the city is already incredibly bad, build an arena down there and Traffic will completely stop for hours and if you lived here you would know that.
@@studivan ive lived in Philly 50 years. Usedto cut school in the gallery as a kid so shut up! You sound like the out of towner! NYC and DC have stadiums smack in the middle of there cities.NYC is 10x bigger than us and traffic flows besutifully across 34th and 8th ave! No one cares about you having to wait and extra minute for you to rush to your septa job! Youre just a classic philly grump who wants to shit out the world! Philly is changing and if you dont like city things move to delaware or the poconos!!
@@studivan seriously? Whether someone’s from Philly or not, who gave you the authority to act like you own the whole city? Traffic and arenas aren’t your personal property, so stop acting like the gatekeeper. You’re coming off like a control freak, barking orders over something that’s beyond your say-so.
The stadium is not even in Chinatown its 11th and market. Chinatown is two blocks away! Also DC snd NYC have stadiums in their mid towns theres no traffic! 99% of goers you public transportation!
@@R_A_3000 of course theres traffic theres traffic on 11th and Market. In fact its one of the most congested i intersections in Philly. Which destroys your argument of there being congestion. My argument is there wont be any real additional congestion other than pedestrians on foot! No one will be crazy enough to be spinning the blocks on 11th street look g for parking anymore than they do in DC or NYC!! If you dont like city congestion move to Delaware!!
@@studivan exactly so it destroys your argument! If its already congested there whats your damn argument? That there will be more congestion? If you mean pedestrians walking around yes! More cars? No!! You do t like ciities move to Delaware!
@@lesterdiamonds27 No you actually destroyed your own argument. If it's already congested then putting a sports arena is going to make even worse. Have you even seen the traffice to sporting events now in the city? It terrible. Also people actually do spin the block looking for parking. You have too much faith in the public transportation system. Philly has one of the worst public transportation systems especially when it comes to safety. Not everyone is gonna take public transportation to go downtown. A lot of people like driving their own car. Plus with the new arena you'll have way trucks making deliveries in that area. Which makes it even more difficult for emergency vehicles. Because FYI there are hospitals downtown too. Only a shortsighted f○○l would think a downtown arena is gonna make things better for the people who live in the city. Also come pack up my stuff and move it to Delaware. Since you have a weird obsession with telling people to move there.
