There must be some legal address to the frequent blocking of roads during the school opening days . The issues are always present before the back to school exercise, therefore, it is a deliberate action against the progress of our children in school.
Thank you. I have said this over and over. But do you notice who blocking the roads? Just take a good look. Those people care zero about their children's education journey.
Sadly, the drivers he's admonishing to take care on the roads, more than likely, will not be watching this or any other media telling them to drive safely. They simply do not care and behave as if they're immortal!
When God was on earth He could not pls the ppl He fed the ppl, He healed the sick, He raised the dead and many, many more and He still couldn't pls them what says the Prime Minister. Don't care what you do ppl will always complain just do what you do best for the ppl of 🇯🇲.

I'm concerned for the health of some of these teachers. A generation of consuming American high calorie processed foods has seen obesity rates skyrocket in Jamaica.
I thought I was the only who noticed. We need them to healthy in this profession. Standing on your feet and sitting at a desk for hours will affect your feet and back if you're already carrying heavyweight. We want these teachers to be teaching and enjoying it for years to come.
Back in the day, Manchester Christiana,Spaldings,Devon. Chudleigh Coleyville, etc. Had Pioneer bus owned by .Mr. French best service for students and workers.
I can understand and appreciate that there are many issues that need to be addressed. Why is it that many public transport operators choose to strike at the reopening of schools when this negatively affects children.
Its full time the government realize far too many of our children leaving high schools with no subject, no skill, no trade. It is a hugh problem for our country that the policy makers has overlooked. Its time government implement Heart Trust skill and trade programs in all the high schools. So the students who are not academic sauvy could learn a skill or trade while in high school. Leaving with there Heart certificate which is something valuable at home and abroad in the working world.
What you should say the children in high school who are non performers should be taught the basic Mathematics, English,Reading and Comprehension then move on to HEART for their skills training, this will allow them to feel much more accomplished aside from being in High School.
@@bibsy1234You, too, have an excellent point. But I can also appreciate the point of the commenter. For reasons, most of us may never know, some children aren't grasping some of the vital subjects but do well with hands-on skills. Since one size doesn't fit all, there need to be offerings for those who are apt to learning a skill. Just a thought.
Some high schools have skills training but are not available in "traditional high schools" only available at "technical high schools" so the majority of children don't benefit.
What you also have to take into account when these children finish high school and apply to go to Heart, it takes another 2 to 3 years wait before they get into a Heart program.@@bibsy1234
I left Jamaica 50 years ago in 1974 and they are still utilizing the shift system for some schools. Within that 50 years span Singapore and Ireland has gone from being poor countries to the richest countries in the world. For many years I use to think our backwardness was due solely to oppression but I have now concluded that there is no hope for the black race. We have been so damaged that we will continue to underperform the rest of the other racial groups
There are 14 parishes. The bus should be distributed to all the parishes. What about children going to school? People going to work. People in your rural area need transportation too. It's not all about the big city .
St. Thomas needs JUTC buses. They have better roads. Plus, they're developing a lot. The PM is fulfilling his promises. The children going to school in Kingston and workers etc as well.
This JLP government is not a nation builder, especially in rural areas, st. Elizabeth is one of the most undeveloped parish in Jamaica, st. Elizabeth is lacking the basic infrastructure, the roads are not even suitable for jackass. Most MPs that represent the parish are missing in action and they are very unaccountable to the constituency.
@@bibsy1234 I think that you should read and learn, if you become prime minister or ministry of finance you would perform better than Holness, he become prime minister with anything behind him saying he want to be prime minister,A new Government that take office whenever they apply there method they should , make things better ,if it's a good plan you will start to some positive results in about 9 months, How long Holness been in office, you can clearly see that nothing get better under, to proove my point Gas price goes up under Holness more than $300 , the Dollar was devalue more than once, Holness is going almost 10 years now and when Holness become prime minister, Jamaica was the 2nd poorest Caribbean nation, today Jamaica remains still the 2nd poorest Caribbean nation ,it does not take a rocket scientist to know that Holness FAIL BIG TIME, and it's time for his to mover over because he fail, if you cannot make sense out of that easy explanation,I don't believe there is any hope for you in Jamaica and anywhere else in the world.
My God Jamaican Jamaican they have nothing to do too much idleness in Jamaican blocking rd and cause havo the cause of politics make the country move up
What about to improve the road, the condition of the roads is very bad we pay road taxes and also spend to repair our car case by bad roads the government is responsible.
When Portia was PM she was always never seen or is always traveling and people like you never complain as the country was never been managed. We have a PM that is visible and showing that he is in charge and people like you complaining. I commend our PM for leading from up front and not hiding behind in the back like Portia. She, PJ and judas Manley were the worst PM I thr history of our beloved island nation
I see the Prime Minister stepping up to the plate since the finance Minister has decided to resign we're going to have a better prime minister who can focus on the people this Minister was born with a Golden spoon no the Prime Minister will see clearly the needs of the local people.
