We are reviewing the new Proton Series Two “ Bronco” this time in Cary , NC. They removed the coating on newer bats and we could really tell a difference in performance and break in time. We hit this bat on three different occasions and it performed well every time.

Thanks for your review of this bat. I’ve had good success with the previous Proton, the senior neon series. I’ll probably have good success with this model. As a person with lower bat speed, I definitely want to know if the barrel is hard or soft, will need some swings to get it there, etc. Thanks to your reviews, I’ve been able to get the models that fit my situation and not go out and get something that I just can’t handle.

I have the first version of this bat and close to 600 swings now and it’s still fire with no cracks/seams

when I watched your review on the hot butter I was like wow! Only problem the bat is super pricey! Even with your discount I would pay 353 dollars with shipping😮 I’ll stick to my tried n true short pouch, I paid 221 dollars with shipping! The bat is still red hot…

How is the paint holding up on your Protons? Mine is cracking badly. Almost like if the bat was breaking. I have never seen a bats paint job do that before.
