Annealing wont give you accuracy gains. It prolongs the life of the brass. You might see precision gains between batches because they cases are always the same hardness, but this would probably only be noticeable in very long range or rail guns.
Nice Im playing with one as well. Yours is a very solid cheap effort. Any updates you can post? what was the speed controller you got of ebay? recommend it or a better version?Regards
+russ4570 Sorry I missed your comment, I have changed the speed controller and that fixed the timing issue. this is the type I bought www.ebay.com.au/itm/Motor-PWM-Speed-Controller-DC-6-30V-12V-24V-Max-8A-With-Digital-Display-Switch-/191169372335?hash=item2c829520af:g:MoEAAMXQyY1TWMQa
Where did you get the speed controller for the motor turning the stage? Is that the motor you referred to as a "Toyota wiper motor" in one of your other videos? I like your videos, the two items you made are neatly and cleverly built. Anyway, I look forward to a video of an aluminum frame.
I used a 12v LED dimmer switch to control the motor speed, it dose an ok job but I'm waiting on a proper motor speed controller off ebay. I pulled that wiper off a VY Commodore but it's very similar to the one I used on my tumbler.
hz87s Excellent thanks. The smaller motor you use to turn the individual brass, does it have any type of head on it for the brass to sit on, I couldn't really tell? Also, how do the brass slide over that "head" if you will, is it level with the board? If you don't mind me asking.
