I decided to redo a new arcade car controller to see if I could get better results and also to see if I could do it in less than 600 lines of code with a little optimization (I didn't succeed in the second one condition because to do it, you have to scatter the code between the different elements, which I don't really like to do)
I took the opportunity to try to improve my shader language, the boost mesh is totally procedural with the use of noise texture

1:52 Suspension bounce at high speed looks great. I wonder if the suspension is bouncing here or is it just the camera moving (up and down)?

I don't really have any really useful advice to give, I can just say that the more "realistic" physics you use, the more difficult it becomes. For example: just start with a rigidbody with 4 raycasts for suspension. I recommend the downloadable project made by Enix: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-v7549oV1v8o.html&ab_channel=1EniX Analyze it to see what is doing what to the car

yes, that's one, just that the car doesn't really turn with the front wheels, I just apply torque to the center of the vehicle to make it turn because it's really too difficult to get a good result using the grip of each wheel
