Here is a song I created to help my 6th grade students study. I hope you enjoy.
These are the type
Animal-like to obtain
All their food from outside that is why heterotrophs
To eat they must consume to live and travel
Pseudopods have a bulge cell membrane
Cytoplasm fills tight, flowing, flowing to feet
To move and then to live in soil or water
The ameba's moving now
The pseudopod fills out, helping it to move and feed
'Cause the sarcodines have false feet
Bulge in membrane, and they can push out, flow and follow
To move and feed
The protists ciliates structures they are just like hair
They can get real far
It always somehow seems to move a far
And they can move, move, move, move,
So they can get what they need
They are paramecium
And I know that they are different set apart
And it seems that inside two nuclei
The large one controls what it do
Reproduction is in two
The ameba's moving now

Zooflagellates have feet
One to eight they're whipping they can live inside you
But when we think of life not motion
They're like sporozoans feed on fluids
And they can move from host to host
'Cause the sarcodines have false feet
Bulge in membrane, and they can push out, flow and follow
To move and feed, oh
Paramecia
Use cilia to leave and these hair-like structures help them
To move and eat, oh
And then the zooflagellates
Use flagella to leave and parasites are sporozoans
