Wow Hans! What absolutely beautiful flowers. Hopefully they won't wait another fifteen years to bloom. I like that you used your hand for scale on how large the flowers are. Thank you so much for sharing. I have never seen flowers like that before until now. Sending you and Lyn peace and love from your friend in Georgia!
Congratulations! They are beautiful! People who are not into plants can’t understand the excitement of seeing them bloom. How long we wait to see the blooms. You will learn patience for sure when dealing with cactus.
Once you see one of these bloom, you never forget it. It's an experience of a lifetime. Now that it has become accustomed to your house I hope it blooms for you every year.

Hello Dear Claire! This "Queen of the Night" is really a Queen of the Night! Thank you so much for your lovely comment, and I have to tell you that the white Matucana madisoniorum v. albiflora is blooming now in the polytunnel with two lovely flowers... We can´t say how happy we are here. We had for a long time had this plant on our wish list and you make it happend. Peace & Love from us both here in Belfast and we wish you lovely days ahead! XXXXX
@@plantdaddy3420 So lovely to hear about the amazing white flower on the Matucana, its a gorgeous flower, I hope the cactus lives for many more happy years to come, with you & Lyn! I have read you can even hybridise Matucana... with Cleistocactus! They apparently produce very interesting hybrids...have you ever tried doing this? Found information on CACTUS ART BIZ. So happy you got to see the white flowers this year! 😊🌵🌟🌵🥳
@@CactusCove The Matucana flower and Cleistocactus flower is quite look-a-like and I can imagine they can work together with pollinatings. We hope that Matucana can come with flowers when Cleistocactus do. Cleisto is a late bloomer in the season. Thank you so much for your advice Claire! Happy Days! XXXXX
@@plantdaddy3420 i did my friend. Dont know what happened. In my next vid on saturday there will be a yellow flowering iris growth progress clip that might interest you. Ha en fin midsommar!
Hello there Martin, try all kind of cacti who bloom at the same time...if it stick, it¨ll be a stunning mix! Or do you meen tool? Use a artist painting brush...
