Re one of the questions at the end... Proverbs 8:6-8 seems to imply that wisdom is characterized by straightforward communication without the "nuance" and doublespeak that characterizes a con artist. The Hebrew for "right things" in v6 (KJV) is mesharim which literally means "straight or even things" and the Hebrew for "froward" in v8 is patal, which literally means "to twist" but can also be understood as "to make convoluted".
After a long survey of online bible studies, I was most impressed with Pastor Landon's talks. The series are easily accessible, understandable and inspired (plus he's really funny). Verse by verse, Pastor Landon reveals and explains the Word in applicable ways to everyday life. I'm grateful! Aileen McLeod (Northern California)
