Getting the right installer is as important as window quality. Biggest benefits are greatly reduced noise from outside, energy efficiency with federal tax credits, ease of cleaning, and high quality window opening and closing mechanisms. Don’t notice or care about any of the cons discussed. by reviewer. Did one year of research before purchase.
yes, that's a good point. Provia windows and Patio Doors do have pros and cons, like anything else, but as long as they achieve your goals in energy efficiency and performance, all the Pros overweight any minor Cons!
@@SidingWindowsWizardsLLC Energy efficiency: They've kept the cold out due to excellent insulation properties and noticeably reduced the amount of heat from the sun entering the house during spring thus keeping it cooler. Has reduced our energy bill by about 5% a month so far. Also they've reduced outside noise significantly again due to good installation and insulation. We live in a suburban area and these windows help with noise reduction.

Both Provia Aspect and Pella 250 are good windows. We prefer Provia Aspect, because the frame and the sash combined a bit thinner than Pella 250. Provia Aspect is more budget friendly option than Pella 250. We are happy to hear that you are enjoying watching our videos
Energy efficiency wise Okna and Provia are pretty much similar. Design wise Provia has a thicker sash and frame combined, so we think Okna is designed better. Price wise top of the line Okna and Provia are gonna be at the same level $900-$1300 . If you choose a bigger company, then it is gonna be more pricey, if you go with a smaller company then more budget friendly
It is tough to compare Provia Aspect Window to Andersen 100, because the Provia is a vinyl window, while the Andersen 100 has Fibrex material. So the design language of Andersen is better, it does have more chiseled and refined look. When you look at energy efficiency, in particular air infiltration, then Provia Aspect is holding the crown. What results are you trying to achieve with your new window project?
@@SidingWindowsWizardsLLC thank you for your reply and follow up question; we rent here so I want a durable frame and long lasting frame ,limiting contraction and expansion issues as well. Of course energy efficiency is also important and a variable. Also outside traffic noise as we live on a busy road, but I am looking to upgrade the STC rating from the standard STC 25 to the max upgradable 32 STC with the Heatlock, what is your opinion please ? @@robertjosan if it is rental then we would say Provia Aspect is gonna be more budget friendly option, than Andersen 100 series. You don’t wanna break your bank on rental property. It has great Laminated Glass Options to eliminate the most amount of noise possible. Just make sure that the frame is foam filled as well for weather and sound proofing
