What a treasure this video is. The viewer can imagine what the people are saying, the relationships. It's just wonderful. I was born in '57, so my first Cape memories are from the 60's. My folks eventually, slowly built a house in Brewster and lived there until shortly before they passed away. Just visited Ptown from Orleans on Saturday .I have so many happy memories of Ptown, including from this past Saturday. Thank you for posting this.
My memories from the 60s were hearing my uncle tell us from the car driving on main Street to look at all the beatniks lol. And i do remember seeing lots of colorful people and storefronts. We drove up from Hyannis usually ever summer for a ride with 2 carloads of our family.
Among these partygoers, there must have been artists, writers, performers, and all the important characters that make up the history of Provincetown. Wow! If anyone at all can recognize a face or two, please point them out!
That was real fool cooking on that grill on the beach , not the nutrition deficient stuff they pass for food today. What are great time to live. My father would have been 17 my mom 23.
