azir is an adc with extra steps and self peel, and because adcs have a high learning curve to begin with he's quite challenging to pick up. especially since even if u are good on adc champions his way of spacing is just weirder since ur not only tracking ur and the enemy range but also the soldier's ranges and cooldowns to maximize dmg while not putting urself at risk, and it's necessary to stay away from danger because you are incredibly fragile, his mastery ceiling is also high because of his ability to to engage/disengage at a moment's notice, and unless you are able to utilize his skills properly it may easily cost you a teamfight, i wouldn't call him the hardest champion from a combo's perspective (other than the revenants shuffle and extending dash range using the terrain, he doesn't really have hard combos in my opinion) but he is too punishing to be called "easy" on account of how a small miss-step will get you exploded by anyone, unless you are consistent with balancing safety and threat through out the entire game you will likely lose many games on azir, but in the end whether that makes him hard or easy to play is up to you, i personally struggled with him for a long time but eventually i got the hang of it

Brotha, having 49% winrate on Azir in NA low masta and taking conqueror / building liandry vs squishy ranged champions proves only that you didn't really master anything, its a bit more complex than that

I Believe Azir is REALLY hard not because his Mechanics , but because he's extremely unforgiven , any slight mistake u do or miss play u're F**ked like if u even miss placed your soldier a bit too far or a bit too close or maybe u over shot your Q to max range and the soldiers ended up not in the ideal place etc etc and actually his decision making is next level too like anyone can do a Shirima shuffle but not everyone do it in the right moment most Azir's go in way too early shuffle the whole team but ended up dead afterward when they're the Carry , where other champs can be more forgiven than him . Like for example , GP i always used to think he's the Hardest champ .. but now he's simply not ! not because his mechanics has changed , but because he became way more forgiven than before with his Passive that can just one shot u with Passive + Q .. he got 5 stacks of E now instead of 3 .. so it's not about the mechanics itself but he became forgiven even if u miss up a bit

You are forgetting that Azir is hard in the sense that, unlike Irelia, he is far more unforgivable to play if he messes up. He only has 1 dash ability for his mobility, while Irelia can technically have multiple dashes to get away from unfavorable situations (sure, it does take some creativity and thinking though). He is also a lot squishier, with no innate sustain. And lastly, he is far more item dependent than she is. She can just auto enemies to death, even if she scrws up her combo (I've seen it so many times). She can build cheaper tank items, while having far more easy time cs-ing with her Q resets, plus deals hybrid damage, being harder to counterbuild. Azir is also heavily gated by cooldown and mana, as he has to reposition his soldiers, which otherwise cost him to lose a lot of dps.

Theres no such a thing that "I proved azir isnt the hardest" Its about hes kit if you look at him and other champs yes hes the hardest cuz you need more than just clicking spells. Azir is a mage who needs multi-tasking You have to manage wave and spacing/poking good Youre champion Movement 1 Or more soldiers up to even 4 So now almost 5 different "units" You need to master every single matchup ( on every champ you need it right but its harder than you think on azir.) Know how to play them even or even WIN every single matchup Azir has combo of multiple mechanics from all lanes you need to put together to master him, he's like harder adc champion but on mid. Just E+Q Orianna? Use Q to position ball all you need its just using spells. Syndra? Can move and cast spells. Easier Azir. My personal opinion about it but ye sure if you think hes easy cuz you get at least 50% wr on 10 games why not ;d (Thats a joke XDD) EDIT BTW : Akalli is one of the EASIEST Azir matchups brother not hardest, azir pretty much shit on every assassin early game . But like bruh winning 1 game vs challanger is not proving anything.....YAY Now when you mastered Azir play vs xerath or syndra or orianna 3 hardest matchups in this freaking game bcs of spacing + dodging they're abillities at once. None of these hypotheticals mean you’re of diamond challenger or whatever level. They’re mental gymnastics justifications. It means nothing. the only thing that dictates your actual skill level is the rating you have. It’s as simple as that. the energy of this video in short is: “I’m technically skilled to some degree of skill level because I can do this in this fake practice game and I’m doing this justification mostly because I can’t actually prove that I play at this skill level because it’s probably accurate”

Azire is the toughest hero because he is usually used against ranged champions Azir, Ahri, Viktor and Syndra. It is extremely difficult to win the lane against them because you need to deal damage with your soldiers and avoid the opposing side's abilities. This is what makes Azir the hardest champion in the game.

There's so such thing as a hardest champ in the game..the thing that makes them hard is how viable they are in the meta and the decision making skills that comes to playing that champion.. and this version of azir is a lot easier to play since buying lost chapter is a good buy to him now..unlike before where mana management was a thing..

Champion diffuculty is depending on the player. Yes there are champs more diffucult to use than others but some difficult champs are easy to others and harder to some. It depends if the person likes the champ and it's playsl style and if it would match theirs.

Why no one say lee sin is the hardest? Like, he is only good early game, fell so bad in late game (you can make him work late game if you can land insec combo and peel for your carry like a body guard), sidenote, only good at early game if you had the mechanic to do so xD Its like thousand times more punishing than any midlane champs (usually the hardest is top and jgl, i mean, midlane have that kind of champ that "lose lane, win game anyway" like katarina by just roaming and abandoning her lane), top usually depends on the enemy ranks and match up, cuz top is basically matchup hell, if you get countered, it usually over before it even started (welp unless the enemy is dumb), for jungler i will say objective is too powerful to be left aside, and "usually" the team with more objective and map control win Doesnt want to torture the content creator, but hey, youre a hell of masochist if you can play lee sin well, i mean, learning how to jungle (routing, clear timing, cheese strats) and counter jungling and when to gank or when to do objective is kinda good already, but doing it with lee sin, man, youre the goat if you even able to do it, i think 7 days isnt possible considered you need to be at least "decent" for being considered as a "bad" lee sin player (also usually need to be able to do at least the simplest insec combo, for some safeswitch if the game not ending early), already subbing, cant wait for more surprise

i've been otp ing azir for 2 years now and i can confirm this video doesn't focus on how to actually master azir

started as a low bronze chicken 9,5 years ago. just hit emerald this season. i still dont regret picking azir for the first time The best part about him is if everything about him becomes second nature and you dont make big mistakes often anymore, he is a solid pick. whats even better? the higher you climb the better he becomes, since people start to actually peel for you & shit. His early laning was and still is really solid, midgame kinda falls off (tho if you build right it isnt really an issue, s14 kinda weird) but you can offset it with some splitting. really strong scaling, you can outscale most champs except infinite scaling ones, altho they can still be outplayed.

Hail of blades + Luden is the best build for Azir if the enemy is squishy. If there are a lot of tanks then lethal tempo + liandry

Azir's skill floor isn't that high but it's the ceiling that makes him harder to play at higher levels. Honestly Azir can do just fine literally just rushing Nashor's until you get to the consistent play and threats of higher levels. If you want higher skill floor champions the ones that come to mind immediately are Elise, Jayce, Lee Sin, and Bard, especially with using and landing his ult.

I main skilled champs like ksante, azir, aphelious (still havent learned aphelious well) and tbh azir is actually pretty hard if you wanna play him correctly. he is also pretty weak which makes him kinda unrewarding to master which is also why he is hard to use

I Stomp on Akalis, i main both tho, and i mean STOMP like 15/4 or some shit, not 4/3. Melees are easy to bully, not hard matchups, this misconception comes from whenever you newly pick azir and let anyone engage you, you'll lose. Sylas, Zed, Akali, Talon, Pantheon, Ekko, Katarina, Fizz, Yasuo, Yone. All these mf eat Azir if you don't know how to play him. Against any of them you just want to deny them farm with your soldiers, so what you do? put soldiers in front of dying allied minions and mostly farm with your basic attacks, you use soldiers to farm for extra safety whenever you go past the middle of the lane. You have to know when to pressure harder or retreat, whenever you are retreating you have to kite which with Azir is weird. When Akali got close to you should've never happened no matter how good she is bc you had cooldowns available. To prevent this all you had to do is put a soldier in front of her, not on top of her, not on top of the minions. She either takes dmg, goes around it and you make distance or uses her dash to go past it. The very moment she leaves range you put another one in front of her and keep kiting, then you use Q to do damage and reposition your soldiers at safe range or E Q on top of her for reposition and even more dmg. Both cases she should die or leave. But what about a character with longer and faster engage like Zed, Sylas, or Yone. You don't do this unless their dashes are down. Against these kind of engages the very moment you see their mobility tool you use W+E to dodge and reposition, put a soldier in front of them and now you have most of the time 2 soldiers hitting them as you kite, they leave range so now you use Q to reposition. And what about Heavy engages like Fizz R? As soon as it hits you, you leave the fucking place and go into tower with W > E+Q, there's nothing you can do there to counterattack. In all of these scenarios you never used R, because it's a disengaging tool. If they feel like going deeper on the engage (Zed R, Pantheon being in range for W or R, Fizz using both Q and E, Akali R, Yone Q+R) you simply press R and deny them. Azir is not easy to dive when he has R, let alone if he actually know what he's doing, you don't really dive him unless he's extremely low health (so that engage from Akali was dumb). Now against mages it's another story, you're either outranged or outdmg. Sure you try to poke here and there but Xerath, Ziggs, and the weird mf Vel'koz mid poke you. You have to engage them to get the advantage and let yourself be susceptible to ganks + they have disengage. Syndra lands one combo and she outtrades you or kills you, also has a disengage. Orianna has relatively the same range but is way safer and can outtrade you bc of her shield and passive. TF lands one combo and leaves, same for LB. Kassadin is the one assasin that fucks you up after 6, he doesn't give a fuck about your disengage and has resistances against mages. Then theres Vex, Veigar and Neeko, they can poke you, they can win trades with one combo, you can't engage them but they can engage you. If you try to engage Vex uses W + Fear, Veigar puts an E to cut you off, Neeko roots you, uses R or goes invisible. Azir against mages is like playing a Bullet hell, you wait for your opponent to use stuff and dodge, one there's no danger you either engage with W > AA > E + Q or chop some dmg which btw the best way to chop some health is W > AA > AA > Q and keep autoattacking, you always summoned a soldier out of range and then use Q which makes you do less dmg. Now take all of this into account into teamfights where everything is more chaotic and assasins do have a chance to engage you now with help of their teammates or your misplacing, because Azir is a Lane Bully, but in teamfights one wrong move and you die, sometimes you're the one engaging for your team which is risky if there's no follow up or someone didn't get pushed with your R. And it's super noticeable when you're not doing anything in the teamfight, you're either melting them turret mode, doing a bit less dmg but kiting, or doing nothing because you misplaced every single soldier or got pushed out of active range. Meanwhile Irelia just has to know when is a good engage and have the mechanics to force an engage for teamfights, 1v1 she's a no brainer because of being a duelist, also she can get away with more mistakes than Azir just because of her having hypercarry dmg but good resistances, lifesteal and dmg reduction. Winning against a challenger doesn't make you automatically good at a champion, consistently stomping with a certain champion is what makes you masterize a champion because for stomping you need both good microgame and knowledge of macrogame. For example I know 2 people who main Darius, 1 is a Challenger and consistently stomps games with him but has seen some weird loses, but I'd say he's good with him. Then this other one is around Platinum, has way more mastery points on Darius and preaches that he's so good with Darius because has seen some random lane wins against Challengers. I refuse to believe he's good, he consistently gets stomped with him, dies a lot, doesn't farm anything, does nothing at teamfights. And theres more factors in being challenger like: A lot of challengers have decent micro, not supergood but decent, they climb up because of their macrogame even if they loose lane. And you can loose lane with a champion you're good at either because of a bad day or ganks and roams, it happens to everyone. ,Some challengers have mid macro and microgame but grind a fucking lot. If there are characters that I'd say are at the level of Azir difficulty and need of both microgame and knowledge of macrogame are Gangplank and Aphelios

I think Nidalee is at least the second hardest or the hardest. Other thing is that Azir has a really high skill ceiling if you compare what for example faker can do with this champ with any other pro player.

No he is very hard its like playing an adc were people can get out of your soldiers autos so it's mostly a poke in early and his numbers are low overall, also if your Q doesn't have enough CDR to make it low enough to reposition soldier they can jump on you and ose shot you you lose damage your ulti is either a get off me tool or engage his mana costs early are high so farm early to hope for lage while enemy katarina will roam and has enough damage to solo kill , his passive isnt real very unreliable and reliable in objective fights no passive while late game clearing lanes is amazing and helps you if enemy tank ornn decides to solo kill you(he will btw) his playstyle is either go poke or dps like an adc both have flaws the poke needs too much mana for midiocare damage and dps playstyle just needs too many items to work and there was a reason why he was pick/ban in pro and worthless in solo que but GP still harder

The hardest champ is Riven and it's not even close. She requires you to play a rave party on your keyboard to function, and she is also a top laner, melee, no sustain, no %hp damage apart from pseudo execute on ult. Azir's hardest thing is getting used to variable range with soldiers and not trolling the teamfight by always trying to shuffle them. Sometimes you need to suck it up and just dps, not initiate like a psycho. Yasuo probably has the highest skill ceiling in the game, but he is easier to pick up than both Azir and Riven.

The hardest champion in the game will never be a scaling champion simply because early game champions have an extra step: they're playing on a timer. Scaling champions, meanwhile, are favored by said timer. Azir might be the most mechanically intensive, but champions such as Lee Sin, Nidalee and Jayce are up there while playing against time on top. Or LeBlanc who needs to end the game early while having low range, low waveclear and no sustain to work with.
