No Leslie. People should use the passing lane for passing. It is not rude to go back into your lane when they are done passing. In fact it might be the rule depending on the country.

And as someone that drives a bit quicker than he should, someone taking miles of distance before merging back into the right lane is probably one of the most annoying things I ever encounter on the road. The most annoying being when people don't move back to the right lane at all. If I was behind Leslie and she would actually have waited for that bridge with no other traffic, I would have passed her from the right before she even got near that bridge Edit: after watching more, I get the feeling that she doesn't know about passing lanes. I think she just thinks of it as "if you drive x speed, you use this lane". And I pray for the US that that's actually how it works because I can't imagine passing a drivers test like that.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is one of my favorite games. I used to play it during my offtime all the time. When I joined a new group of friends, we started hanging out more often and they kept mocking me for it. It was all in fun jest and I still bring it up. Amazing. Good times.

Is this a LA thing or do americans not drive on the most right lane by default? In germany it's literally a law that you have to drive on the right, if possible. Seeing someone drive a truck, even in a simulator, in the middle when there is nobody on the right (or left in the UK) hurts my eyes lol.

It's a law in almost every state in the USA as well, only a few states actually enforce it though. My home state of New Jersey does, and no matter how crazy we drive speed wise we follow that law and crashes on highways don't happen as common as other states. And NJ is one of the lowest deaths per driver in the country.

In all seriousness the outer lane (right in US) is the normal driving lane, and the other lanes are all for overtaking. Driving in the middle by default is lane hogging.
