I always avoid rivers in the spring, maybe I should reconsider.

Good day on that fast flowing run off section. Too fast for me to fish right now.

I never even try in water that swift, but maybe I should. You just throwing downstream and letting the water do most the work? Reel slow with the occasional twitch?
