Lots of huffing and puffing; several locomotives; freight cars that are able to change colors on the fly, but I'll be damned if I saw a tunnel. Are they using a "cloaking" device?
I want to see the early days of the line, so I’m going for 1900! That line is so scenic and interesting. It runs to near my home town (Beccaria, PA) which is littered with smaller competitor lines from the early days that dot to and from the largest of the underground coal mines in this area. I want to learn as much as I can about the old lines. I am also interested in coal mining history in Clearfield County. If you are a local history buff who knows these topics please let me know
