Hands down 2 of my favorite guitarists. You complement each other very well in both playing style and personality. Thanks for the great content and the time you guys put into all these videos. Great gear as well. God bless!
lmao...."Here's the Middle Position.....Coil Split!" *Starts Jam* I love it when stuff like that happens haha. Then 19:28 happens hahaha -As a side note, I just want to commend both Rabea and Pete for the amazing playing in this video. I watch Andertons, Rabea, and Chappers on youtube quite a lot and I have to say, the playing in this vid especially was fantastic. It's always fantastic and it's the reason i've been watching the vids for years now. You guys inspire me everyday to become a better player and I hope that the vids keep coming for many more years to come! Thank you guys so much for all the content that the whole Andertons and Rabea/Chappers crews come out with! It is my daily go-to to calm down and watch what I truly love to watch. Cheers guys!
Damn Pete !!! When you started around 9:20, that clean tone was magic. Makes me think my tele should be moved for another PRS in my guitar rack. Great demo guys !
Man, these intro jams are some of the best I've ever heard. I wish you would put the chords in the description or on screen so we can play along too :)
God you guys are getting so good together. Those were some of the best jams yet. Bea you've gotten so so so much better since youve been jamming with lord pete. Its awesome. You guys rule. Keep it up \m/
some of the the best jams I've heard on the andertons vids and a refreshing change from chappers bumble bee runs up and down the neck! I'd go so far as to say I'd happily pay to see you two jam that blues rock jazz funk fusion in a club ;-)
I seriously don't understands why Pete is not a musician professionally. I am sure he does gigs here and there but he is just as capable as someone like John Mayer imo. He could be the guy that sells out stadiums. The playing is extremely good, I would kill to hear some of his original music.
ive played one or two of these at my local shop, and they feel and look amazing, i dont care about binding, or if it has a bolt on neck. i care how it plays, and these do not disappoint
Pete has more than a smidgen of Walter Becker in his lead style at times and Rabbea is by far the most versatile player in the team. I own an original CE22 and can honestly say they are fantastic value. Punch way above the price. I tried the new CE24 just after release and it blew me away...it's on my GAS short list. Great job again guys...
I got one. Absolutely love PRS now. I owned a Gibson Paula Black Beauty, a Jackson Ke-2 Kelly. Sold em both. This PRS is mindblowing. I want another PRS, thats how much I love them by now.
I don't get why so many Gibson/Fender fanboys have to be so rude and aggressive about PRS. They might not be what you like, but you're not being forced to like them. Don't think I've ever seen a PRS player insult someone for liking a different guitar.
Ben Brennan ya man the necks Feel sooooo good and already used in even when brand new. worth the money for sure. I've seen a $4500 Gibson custom at a music store and the binding was not flush lol. But I do love the Gibson sound and have some of those as well. good video though
I'm just happy there are so many guitar manufacturers doing well. Choice is good even if you choose not to play a PRS. A world with just Fender and Gibson is a sad world.
99% of PRS owners also own Gibson & Fender anyway that’s why we know damn well how average build quality Gibson are. Fender on the other hand, have been putting out excellent guitars rivalling PRS lately
Maaaannnn rabea doing that pete "throw in the diminished here n there" thing soooo good u guys are incredibly inspiring i cant get home to my strat fast enough!!!
Great video. I've played the new CE's and the S2 Satin models (not these CE Satin's yet); both are constructed to perfection. Blew me away in comparison to the competition in their price ranges, in terms of build quality (and even higher ranges as well).
This is an old video, but everything I’ve seen on specs for these say the reason these don’t have a brass block is this is the same MIK trem as the SE’s and S2’s. They sound amazing!
Yo Pete's a great player. Everyone's always talking about Rob and Rabea, who are obviously also great, but Pete's style is different from theirs and I dig that. I'm saving up for one of these. Lol I should study for finals.
Hey, you guys should do a blindfold split pickup challenge. You should compare coil-splitted PRS guitars and Gibson Les Pauls to something like a Fender Strat or other single coil pickups and see if you can tell the difference... I always feel that splitted humbuckers sound way worse than real single coils. Would be nice to know if you could hear the difference in a blindfolded challenge.
Beautiful hand made guitars .. like the original early PRS .Really know stuff .. love the exotic PRS guitars but shit scared you would scratch it up .. beautiful tone and tone would.. stunning instruments
I laughed so hard when he was like "oh i didn't do the neck pickup." *ding* "There you go." Gold. I've never seen you guys have as much fun with any guitars as this video.
So I had a 2017 Core Custom 24, 2017 CE 24, and 2017 PRS SE 245. I really think they are all abolutely great guitars. The SE 245 sounded almost the same as the core 24 oddly...minus the coil taps. I prefer the thinner neck of the 24s. Again they all sound epic... not sure which sounds better. I thought that I would prefer the sound of my core but I always kept gravitating back to my CE... except when playing lead, delay, or using coil tapping then the core was warmer sounding. Anyway I just sold my core and 245 and kept the CE. I know it's half the price and cheaper to make, shallower carve, etc... but if you actually own both and compare sound only the CE just has magical sound... bright, clear, crisp, punchy, etc. I will still buy another core with color I like more than my last... or the semi hollow special with more pickups soon... just to give a different tone for different types of music.
I honestly like this range the most out of all prs models, they look better, plays better and sounds better than the se and s2 line, and not as "fragile" as the fancy looking core models, and they plays the best out of all prs guitars because of the satin finish imo.
I have been watching for a few years . I enjoy most of your videos. I would like to hear some examples without effects. I am contemplating a used CE 24 . When I can, I will get to a guitar shop and attempt to play one. Thx again, jim.
