3 weeks later... The dlr has me tempted. Mine is the classic k525i. The skmr reticles are pretty decent, but I wouldn't mind a wider Christmas tree reticle up near the main horizontal line. If I had $3400 to spend on a new scope and it was between these two, the DLR might win for the ~10 mrad/rev turrets.
Better than Athlon Cronus, Maven RS.4, USO Foundation, k525i or Razor. In short, better anything I've tried. The M7Xi gets a lot of flak lately for having some chromatic aberration, but there are other features to pay attention to - excellent light transmission being one of the more important ones.
I see a very little bit above 10x when looking at white paper at 100yds. Took me nearly a year to to see it. I have a feeling I wasn't totally lined up in the right spot, but it was there. Nowhere near as bad as kahles or Burris though.
