Cool demo and tone. Great guitar, except for that Floyd string tree PRS screwed on over the truss rod cover! Looks like an after thought.

Yeah not sure what they could have done differently though. The strings had to get pulled down straight with the nut or you'd have strings going sharp when locking the nut down. ESP, Ibanez, etc all have a similar setup with the truss rod cover under the string tree. Interestingly, the USA PRS floyd model doesn't have the tree so either that model has a pivoted back headstock (which I can't really tell from picturs), a flat locking nut or the strings just go sharp when locking it and you deal with it with fine tuners (which seems like a terrible answer for $5000).

I have a CE24 2017 I believe. Wouldn't touch the pickups. I have a S. Korean wannabee prs se and I want to change the pups. Maybe to some 59's from SD. Bitten has messed up my economy at the moment. Any how thanks good sounds.

Yeah I think the pickups in this guitar are a great middle ground that can do cleans, classic rock and blues and high gain rock but you'd need something hotter to do really high gain metal and some nice alnico II PAF type pickups would give it a sweeter sound if you're doing more of the lower gain stuff.

My floyd rose’s height on bass strings is little higher and lower on treble is it ok?

If you want it lower, you can adjust the tremolo pivot screw with an Allen wrench. Tighten the screw to lower the bridge. Lower it to the point where you can still cleanly fret all the notes on every fret. Once you hear notes dying or buzzing really badly (if it were me) I would raise it a hair and call it a day. You also need to make sure the neck action is set properly with the truss rod. There’s a right and wrong way to do that so check RU-vid for truss rod adjustment instructional videos.

@@FastRedPonyCar yeah i ive adjusted them but my concern is that the treble side is little bit lower than bass side so is it fine to have different height?
