In this video I showcase, review and demo my PRS Torero that has Mark Holcomb Alpha Omega (after market pickups) installed. The PRS Torero SE was a shredder guitar manufactured from 2010-2015 and I can't help but believe that PRS wants this guitar buried and forgotten. It doesn't really fit the mold for the PRS lineup, especially since it came with active EMG 81/85 pickups. This model also has an ebony fretboard, Floyd Rose 1000 installed. Totally different concept beyond the typical PRS design. This guitar competes with and blows away most modern shredder guitars manufactured today. Perhaps that's just not the market PRS is going for? Maybe the shredders our there just aren't looking for a PRS? Either way, if you can find a good deal on one of these used, I would highly recommend picking one up.
