Rhododendrons come in many shapes and sizes, from the low-growing Carolina (5 to 6 feet tall) to the large native rosebay (20 feet and more). Cultural requirements for rhododendrons and azaleas are the same, but their structures are quite different. Rhododendrons are more “tree-like”, and are pruned differently.
