I'm a Nigerian living in Ghana and one thing I've noticed is that Nigerians love Ghana high Life music more than Ghanaians. Ghana high Life music is well celebrated in Nigeria. Ghana and Nigeria are brothers 🇳🇬🇸🇳
My guy Nigeria has many great high life musicians the Nigerians dominated the high life era there is no high life musicians in Ghana you can use to compare the Nigeria hi hlife musicians like the likes of rex Lawson, chief osita osadebie, and Oliver d Cole , Ghana are just claiming to invented it but Nigeria has be doing high life long time which we called palm wine music, the Nigeria high life musicians were so bigg in the world compare to their counterpart from Ghana if they want to argue pls let them mention their Ghanaian top five high life musicians that are bigger than the Nigeria top five high life musicians of peter waifu, rex Lawson, Oliver d Cole, bright chimeze and the okene band
This is reminding of Onitcha very well. Specifically the manufacturing industrial section of Onitcha, this song was played every morning. Good memories. -Demola Ikudehinbu, JP, CEO.

Okukuseku band of Ghana led by Sami kofi, Ashanti Brother’s band of Ghana and city boys band of Ghana , Paa bohboh ,Opa mbua and many others I can not remember their names again. Nigeria made them what they are today. Sammy kofi the leader okukuseku band has a chieftaincy title from my area. They based in Nigeria in the 70’s 80’s and early 90’s. I don’t think they will forget Nigerians and Nigeria, if they are grateful to how Nigerians accepted them and gave them sense of belonging. Well loved by Nigerians. Especially the Igbo tribe of Nigeria.
This song makes me want to cry. Brings back so many beautiful memories. I cherish every moment I find myself in, because once it passes all we have left are just the memories.
Honestly this is my best high life worldwide ..I first heard it back then when i travelled to the eastern part of Nigeria..Ever since then, I keep playing it everytime...

Great Hi-life tune by Pryce Kwaku Armah. The Nigerian touch even makes it more appealing to the ears. Such songs make me proud of my Ghanaian and African descent. Oya Make We Go Na Dawn Don Break!

@gtimerepochrist4361 😂😂 very funny... don't you know Ghanaians came to teach you guys highlife music? They were mostly in the Igbo communities especially in Onitsha... that's why Igbos have the best highlife musicians. Learn more about the history of nigerian highlife music.
@@saphooro @ahmedsarfo6139 it is true mist Ghanaians don't have sense, how can you teach someone that is master in the cráft than you, I have said these before you Ghanaians should name their top high life musicians that is bigger than rex Lawson, Oliver d Cole and the orental brothers and yet you guys are foolish claiming you own high life when it is clearly in history that in that high life era the Nigeria high life musicians were the biggest from Africa even your high life Ghana legend Pryce Ammah highlife were mostly sang in the Nigeria pidgin language using the famous Nigeria slang all through in his song , the fact you forget that Nigeria has been doing high life before it was called high life music, you are just a baby to know these fact and I repeat no Ghanaian highlife musicians that is bigger than the Nigeria high life musicians of Oliver d Cole rex Lawson and the orental brothers , Chief osita osadebie Peter wyfo just to mention a few your Ghana high life were only reigning only in Ghana while the Nigeria high life were reigning all over Africa , go and check it the fact and stop argue your your village Ghana mindset of teaching who rubbish and yet you could not cross your own border with your high life music than the Nigeria, small child of nowadays want to argue high life era with old gee like me , go and learn and stop this your useless Ghanaian typical village talk.....
Am Ghanaian and I've never heard this song ever in my life but I'm serious fan of highlife music and am wondering how come I never heard this kind music....To me this man is a Nigerian
Nigerians will tell you the importance of Ghanaian musicians. These guys like, city boys band.of Ghana, okukuseku band of Ghana led by Sami kofi, Ashanti band of Ghana and many others I can not remember their names again. They based in Nigeria in the late 70’s 80’s and early 90’s. Okukuseku leader Sami kofi has a chieftaincy title in my area. They ate the good fruits of Nigeria. If you’re less than 40 years of age, you may not know all these musicians.
