In todays episode we install a PS1 Digital into this already recapped PlayStation console. With the PS1 Digital, we bring the PS1 into the digital age, which will allow this console to work with modern TV's that have an HDMI port.

You should be able to in the PS Digital. In the Retro GEM, I believe its only available if you have Shiny.

Well, this is the PS1 Digital, which doesn't have the limitations of the non shiny edition of the Retro Gem. As for how good the digital is, I'd say out of the box (or in this case the plastic bag) it is better than the Gem just because you don't need to pay for an additional fee for 1080P output. There also doesn't seem to be an easy solution for the loss of the serial port when it comes to the Retro Gem.

How hot should you iron be when you're working on these boards?

I usually use 350C, but you could get away with maybe 335C.

That will depend. If you're removing a capacitor then you may need more heat. If you're reballing a GPU, then lower is better.

Depends on if you are using leaded vs non leaded solder. There are times where you may have no choice but to go to 385C when working with non leaded solder.

Its your preference. I try to go with the rounded joints when performing the HDMI flex installs, so in my case I use the non leaded solder.

Cualquiera puede hacerlo, pero yo practicaría primero con algunos dispositivos electrónicos rotos. Luego, una vez que estés seguro, puedes pasar a soldar la PS1 Digital. Una lupa ayudó considerablemente.
