riddarhyttan Planetside 2 does not have expansion packs. This footage is from the Public Test Server, where DBG(formerly SOE) push out updates and tweaks they want feedback on before moving them onto the live servers.
AOEOt31os My bad; I saw seven DLC packs on Steam, and wondered if they were needed for the full experience. From what little reading up I've done, it seems that almost the full experience (if that wording makes sense) is available in the free version? (Dammit, YT did its thing again, making me miss half of the replies. Sorry about the incoherence.)
riddarhyttan The DLC packs on steam are just value bundles that contain weapons/camos/boosts. All weapons can be purchased in game for certs (ingame earned currency).
