How to copy games if multiman is not loading NTFS external Hard disk HDD, Some drivers especially 1TB + won't detect sometimes. Try this method for peace of mind! Easy way to copy games on multiman
so the problem here with me is even after enabling the "PFS Driver" and the file is showing on ps3 root after i enter "ShowTime" the file isn't here of course i am talking about "ntfs0"
This is a great method of backing up games to the hdd that have files too large for a normal FAT32 storage device. Let me add that with later versions of Multiman you just turn on the multiman/cfw at the xmb screen and have your NTFS drive connected. Then go to the file manager screen, load movian and wait for the ntfs icon to show up, it takes around 20 seconds. Then you can copy any game size from any ntfs drive straight to the hdd. It doesn't let you copy to the games folder anymore directly but once it's on the hdd, you just have to use the multiman file manager to copy and paste it into the game folder again. No need to split large games anymore. Just have a large ntfs drive, copy the game to the ntfs drive and use multiman CFW mode and movian to copy any game regardless of its size to the ps3 hdd. You then have to move this copied game from the PS3 hdd into the GAMES folder on the ps3 hdd and all should be well. If the game doesn't play straight away, just restart your ps3. Good luck and thanks for such a clever method.
Thanks for your video. However, I just have one question. The games to be copied must be in what format? because i tried to copy my games in iso format, but clicking on it it doesn't give me option to copy. sorry if my English is badly written, because I am French speaking.
You probably already figured this out by yourself but if not You can copy them in any format you want, just put them in the right location for example isos in PS3ISO folder and JB folder games in GAMES folder
If it still doesn't show up even in Movian, make sure the disk is using MBR instead of GPT. Nearly pulled my hair out trying to figure out how to mount NTFS drives on my PS3.
You can do this on windows....Back up or move all volumes on the basic GPT disk you want to convert into an MBR disk. If the disk contains any partitions or volumes, right-click each and then click Delete Volume. Right-click the GPT disk that you want to change into an MBR disk, and then click Convert to MBR disk.
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!!!! I was using my ntfs normally on my PS3 but I had to format it and I totally forgot about the gpt to mbr thing I was searching for a solution for 2 days I was so done Thank you
I’m using EvilNat 4.88.2 and I have multiman on it, I’ve got games from a usb 32gb FAT32 installed over onto my internal 1tb drive but wondered can I use a usb with NTFS to run a .pkg file as some games are over 4GB in size and you can’t use FAT32 for them being restricted to 4GB or less
Ofcourse you can use NTFS and copy games, make your 32gb usb to NTFS, and follow below video. PS3 works great with 500gb HDD or less. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vY-8TP5QSGA.html ( How to copy games via NTFS )
@@TechGuru4U yeah I know with disc games you get them from a site and usually they will fit on a 32GB FAT32 usb and then just use the main multiman screen which then displays it and you then just press the triangle button and click on copy to hard drive so same thing as video but easier. I’m on about the digital games you download so like with aliens colonial marines that doesn’t work with the disc version but they do have a PKG PSN download but it’s about 6GB so yeah using the NTFS way on multiman is ok but not sure you can extract them on there only the main interface of the PS3 but that won’t read NTFS or ExFat. I know there’s apps out there to install more stuff to do it just wondered why in the custom firmwares it didn’t get supported as things like the X and O button change and now able to put your games in title order first has been added so was just thinking maybe it could be done.
Understood, have you tried splitting the game and install, you will get PS3 game splitter application that allows you to split over 4gb files and install..
@@TechGuru4U sorted this problem in the end, on multiman on the first section you can change the mode so it will read NTFS and then you copy any package over 4GB to the hard drive and then from the main PS3 screen it’s in there to install
bro plz reply which is fast fat32 format or ntfs for transfering games in ps3 i tried your method to copy uncharted among thieves 2 thanks but i default use fat 32 and i used this method bcoz my games is not copying in my fat32 pendrive so i format it in ntfs and your method works but tell me which is fast ??

Not sure in the video if u had to click that and refresh i hage tried that wirtout it not showing dev_rewrite but the ntfs0 doesnt show.. i did the usb.config from your previous video and it shows exactly as that video..any help on having ntfs0 showing up in movian ?

Sir, You Are My Hero! I used to have NTFS Flash Drive that could be read by the multiman using PFS Drive method. Then, I lost it and couldn't copy any games with size more than FAT32 can handle. But with this video, you give me back my sanity. Hat off to you kind Sir!
@@TechGuru4U and yeah i tried other buttons But nothing worked It worked for me just one time idk why but when i tried for a secound time it doesn't show up

Can u help me ,my pendrive cant detect on my ps3 ,even in movian cant detect my pendrive ,i tried ntfs and fat but it still doesnt work ,other solution ?pleasee helpp🥺
1. Download "Refus" from Google for formatting 2. Format your pendrive to FAT32 with MBR 3. Insert drive to right most USB port of the PS3 Hopefully you fix this! Let me know...
have one partition formatted in FAT32 same MBR, not GPT as the PS3 does not support it... and one in NTFS. The purpose of the NTFS partition is to get around the file size limit of 4GB that is imposed on the FAT32 file system, other wise you will have to split into 4gb pieces using splitter.. make a NTFS partition and job is job.. good luck👍
Bro in PS3 controller I can't reset. What can I do for it?? Now I have no money for buy new controller. Can you show to fix that PS3 controller reset??
