@@wizzlevii I know I am 10 months late! But you can if you access the Quick Menu by holding down the Playstation button on your controller then you go to party if you are in a party and then there should be an option in that sub-menu that allows you to adjust the volume level between the game and chat audio. Once you find that option (I forgot which one) you can adjust the game and chat audio to your liking. Hope this helps! =)
I think I’ve made a decision that if the PlayStation 5 does not have the ability to play audio through Bluetooth devices that are not made by Sony that I’m not buying it. Critical failure. I’m not having it! Thanks for your very informative video.

Bro you just upgraded my gaming skills. I can only play late at night when my wife and baby are asleep and always had to keep the volume down. I thought I had to get some expensive headset for this feature but now thanks to you I can enjoy the in game sound without disturbing my family.
Why such a helpfull video like this not show up in top of youtube ,i have a ps4 slim and tv cocaaa (indonesia) wich is no audio output any one ,rca hdmi,or 3,5mm headphone jack,but it has a mini av out 3,5mm jack ,i already buy a audio extractor its now in shipping ,and when you said " i can use external speaker trough usb cable in front of ps4 " and i say fuck why i do not see this video before buy hdmi extractor its lots cheaper using a usb cable connect to speakers :( Sorry if my language it's a mess....
thank you so much.....i bought the same model of usb soundcard u got and its best and cheap,stereo sound,good volume.i have an old soundblaster sb1290 usb sound card, its more expensive, but the ps4 cant fully support it, the volume is extremely low. the soundcard the uploader using is model 5HV2. thx uploader. now at last i can use my ps4 on a vga monitor and with a stereo speaker.

handy feature yeah.. nice of sony to make headphones deliberately hard to connect to sell their own china shenzen crap... they could just make all headphones compatible end of story, which is why we should use steam and refuse to support sony. hassle like heck... just buy a pair of headphones that work. or follow these instructions; put the output to tv, find a optical cable (something hard to find even in an electronics shop), buy a solar moon capsule, do a double back flip, be born before your Grandad, take a 5 pin plug, plug into a four pin one (find some first to buy), get hold of a pistachio and coconut ice cream from hawai, throw a boomerang around three trees, then buy a five to four pin adapted and plug it into a usb two pin microphone and headphone adaptor, and load these drivers from my website with the malware i put into it.. or just say 'fuck it i will stream without talking, as i cant be bothered fiddling all day and missing work with this frustrating crap until tech makes it easy for the common man. I just want a pair of headphones that work without peripherals that break get lost and end up on a shelf within a month gathering dust.. all these gadgets are just destroying the environment with the rate they break and get lost or thrown away

When i plug the headset intp the controler the mic doesnt work at all. I cant even fix the mic level settings the phone mic might work but i havent tried it yet

Late to the party but, i have a Steinberg USB sound card, powered up and connected to my PS4 Slim, it doesn't recognise the PS4 and the PS4 isn't recognizing the sound card. I do not think the playstation support usb soundcards but usb headsets and so on. If anybody got it working tell me plz.

I bought one of those sound cards and connected it to my logitech Z213 with annoying results, the sound was too low, I tried calibrating everything on the PS4 and turned up all volumes to max and I can barely hear some games and it gets worse on others.
Vince. Need your help real bad. I bought that exact usb soundcard. And a speaker. I plugged all in. Soundcard to the usb port. And the audio jack port to the soundcard. But when i do that, i got the sound of the game but display is gone. Unplugged it and everything cameback. Really hope you read this, vince. Or anyone else who might know what to do

I have a LG TV that is powered from switch and it is not a smart TV,it is 7 years old. my setup is through usb sound card to speakers, but the volume is not high even if i turn the volume in the ps setting to max and the speaker to max, my usb sound card has 2 3.5mm output, i plug 2 set of speakers, and all volume to max still not that high,

Ok, i use a Aux microphone, like a physical microphone, not in a headset, and i need to connect it to the ps4 via usb so i plug the aux into a splitter but the splitter is connected by a usb, but i cant find one of those

For the phone as a mic if u just use a charger and put the USB into the PS4 and the charger in your phone it should work if u use a app thats name is microphone but it might also work on this app
