You definitely helped with the issue with the hidden menu but the fix to my problem was to change my setting to audio 1 English, I had it on audio 2 English. Which gave the voice volume a low barely audible with good sound effect volume. Hope this helps some one out there.
Thank you this helped me so much. I just bought my tv and was having sound issues with movies but not games. No one could tell me what was going on with it. Thanks again
oh my god I've been doing this for like 5 hours and you did it you are the master you are the best thank you very much now I have to figure out how to make it with RU-vid
Thanks a lot. This helped me out a lot. I had an issue when I used a streaming service on my PS4 the audio was way to low compared to playing a game. This helped a lot.
Thanks alot for posting this video! That was driving me nuts, I knew there was something stupid I was missing. So asinine why they would make you do that to get to that setting
Thanks for that. Why in the hell would they do that? If you go to the audio output menu from Ps4 home screen and select optical output/DTS, it should take care of this but it doesn't.
PS4 audio is a joke. I have same problem with my PS4 except on games. I have hdmi through my amp and even though my amp is shows DTS it only plays through front stereo 2.1 Only happens on PS4 and I've tried switching cables and checked settings but still only 2.1 lots of other people with same issues.
Well my problem is that yesterday day evry thing was good but today the there is no sound from my tv speakers but when I plug in my headphone I do hear sound plZ help thx
I'm having the exact same issue since I bought my PX4's yesterday. It was working fine earlier, but once I restarted my PS4 it stopped playing sound when my headset is off.
today i am playing darksoul and the sound gone suddenly.. i done everything like unplug hdmi change Hdmi port restart ps4... mean anything but no sound.. plz help
I figured this out last night after hours of fooling with it. Unfortunately Sony still has a bug. They give you the option to let digital optical audio be your primary source of audio output yet when you switch to it, you will still get audio through both optical and HDMI ports. NO! I want that turned off when I switch my primary to Optical . I have my reasons. Because whats the point in having the option to pick and it does nothing. I paid to much money for bugs.
Tomi Ahmad Hi. To the best of my knowledge, PS4 slim can only output sound via HDMI, so I would suggest you’re either having issues with your ARC settings, or you could look for an option in your TV sound settings for delay time. Failing that, try a newer HDMI cable to rule that our. Good luck.
@@trig2010 Actually it doesn't happen often, if there is an audio lag I turn off the PS4 then turn it on again and return to normal. But if it happens again I will try it, thanks for your reply 🙂
