if you ever encountered this that means you're with me 1:You're updating a game then it shows a black screen and then you got into safe mode 2:You closed you're ps4 then tomorrow woke up a safe mode appears 3:you're playing a game then a black screen appears then a safe mode came 4:you tried everything to get out of safe mode but doesn't work 5:you thinking of Suicide Attempt when you get safe mode 50 times
My ps4 suddenly turned off and went to the black screen asking for an update software and i tried that , also went to the safe mode and did all iptions including initializing it and nothing works , please help me .
@@Abcdefg-ls7xz mine doesn’t show the options it only shows “cannot story the ps4 connect the DualShock 4 using the usb cable, and then press the ps button”
I guess this is my only option, ps4 is shit for this... I literally unplugged my ps4 with my foot on accident while I was playing cod and now I have to reinstall everything
i cant even get to safe mode help me. I turn it off completely, then when i try turning it back on, it just stays blinking, no display shows up, it stays blinking then sometimes it turns back off if i leave my finger on there for awhile.
I cant even backup my data because my ps4 is stuck in the safe mode loop and the options from 3-5 do not work. I dont have enough money to buy another ps4, so please help me
Safe mode scares me so much, it's just something about nothing moving, the eerie silence and almost complete darkness. Whenever I need to enter safe mode I put on calming music so that I don't freak out.
There is also [8. Set HDCP Mode]. This does not normally appear, because it appears only when it's switched OFF. It is required to switch it ON, otherwise some games or apps will not start.
Is it just me? My ps4 is running slow mortal kombat loading screens taking long. Fortnite textures won’t load and my locker lags when I switch my pickaxes and skins and stuff
my ps4 said that the data was corrupted then i restarted it and it was fine but for some reason i had to reinstall all of my games but i had all of my data on it
My PS4 went into safe mode just the other day . From reading and watching so many failed RU-vid videos i began to panic. Instead i went ahead and bought a USB stuck it into the PlayStation that I play in the living room that works; i saved all my data from that ps4 onto the USB. After all my data was saved i went back to the ps4 that was in “Safe Mode” and went ahead and chose “Initialize” after i chose initialize it completely reset my ps4. When it came on i signed back in and “Downloaded” everything i had saved on my USB also if you have a PlayStation Plus everything should be saved ONLINE! Just go to: “Applications Saved Data Management” in settings ... Go down to “Saved Data in online storage if you have a Plus . Or “Saved data on USB Storage device” if you went the route to save it onto a USB . 😄
@@exticed8318 how?i unplugged and it only checked the system storage status.also maybe if you choose "change resolution" it turns to the normal ps4 menu
I literally just got my PS4 slim and this popped up. It wasn't even dirty or anything like that since I just got it for Christmas. I was playing it and it came up. I was forced to delete all the data since the other options didn't work :(. I pray for you gamers don't experience the same fate I did. Remember to take care of your PS4 gamers. *Gamer salute*
It took me 2 years to finally get stuck in this loop, why Edit:I mean it took me 2 years for me to discover the safe mode thing, still upset cause I had to initialise Edit number 2, safe mode came up again, but I didn't get stuck in a loop or lost my data, (well there's not that much to lose if it was wiped out 2 weeks ago) but still,
TURN OFF THE PS4 ALL THE WAY HOLD THE POWER BUTTON TILL IT MAKES TO BEEP SOUNDS THEN CONNECT YOUR DUAL SHOCK CONTROLLER WITH A USB CABLE TO THE PS4 AND IT WILL TAKE YOU TO THE PS4 SAFE MODE OPTIONS .
@@kawaljitsingh1572 if you eanna do it yourself, you need a new hard drive. You can buy one straight off the I ternet or maybe like best buy or something. The onws in the original playstations are toshiba but I dont think they make them anymore but you can still use any other. You can cjoose from 1 terabyte ($100) 500megabytes ($60-80) and 2terabytes (rrally just for PlayStation pro $150-180) then download the PlayStation operating system off sony and reinstall it with a wired control. I just took mine to get fixed with a new hard drive. Cost me $95
My PS4 is not working at all I tried all these steps but i only get the message "ps4 could not start please press the power button to turn it off" I want my money back or a replacement
if it's not initializing when you do it in safe mode then it's fucked up ...but if your cutting it on and your getting a msg saying can't start up,then you need a new harddrive bout 60 bucks on Amazon for 1tb
2:34 It’s false, I watched this guide 3 times over when I got stuck in a Safe Mode loop and I used the Rebuild Database and ALL of my PS data was deleted (single player and hard drive save files) luckily the online games had their own database so I was saved there, but yea this guide isint as clear as it seems
If you guys are like me and got stuck in your safe mode screen and need the 7.2 update than just do number 6 and will work as long as you have ps plus but might lose saved data but will keep some of it and games bought through the ps4
If it’s still not working and you guys have done all this stuff don’t worry. If you go to your router,unplug it for 30 seconds,then go plug it in and try signing in it will work.i tried everything for like an hour and could it figure it out,but then I came across a very unbiased vid. so i was in the safe mode loop, and had to initialize it. after reinstalling some games i saw that all the data was gone. after this i re downloaded it from cloud storage, but to my amazment it was all corrupted so i cant use it. words cannot describe my personal anger, as i have over 4 years of data, and i genuinely dont know what to do. am i fucked or is there some way i can get it back? happy to provide more details if someone is willing to help. if i cant im going to commit a murder
if someone doesn’t understand how to get to the menu here’s a simple thing wait until the ps4 is turned off then hold the power button on the ps4 until you hear two beats then the ps4 should turn on and connect your ps4 controller to the ps4 with the charger and press the ps4 button don’t use any of the first ones use rebuild data base which deletes all corrupted files so you will have to sign into the your PlayStation account your welcome it’s still hard for me but I gave simple instructions after watching this video 100 times
When I click PS button it says “connect a USB storage device that contains an update file for reinstallation for version 6.2 or later. You can download the update file for reinstallation from PlayStation.com” CANCEL OK I obviously choose cancel but then my PS4 turns off and I’m in a loop PLEASE HELP THANK YOU
I just fixed mine I accidentally unplugged it and I had to do a 10.01 system update and no matter what I did the USB didn't have it so I held the power button until it said update system over internet and I tried it a couple times and it worked
@@Tadeo-millu I wrote this before I realized I didn't actually fix it I had to reset it and lost everything. Hopefully you can fix it without deleting everything
PLEASE HELP! I get into safe mode no problem. However when I'm on the option menu within safe mode my controller doesn't let me select an option! Help would be appreciated
NO OPTIONS WOULD WORK AND I CANT BUY A NEW PS4!!! I GO BACK TO SAFE MODE WHEN I JUST WANNA PLAY MY DAMN GAMES! PS4 SUCKS WITH THEIR SAFE MODE OPTIONS THAT DONT EVEN WORK! ITS A $400 GAMING CONSOLE AND CANT WORK SAFE MODE PROPERLY!!! SCREW SONY!!!
