Really great video might have to look at those hdmi protectors also I would love for you to do this video again but on the blu-ray drive as mine works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't and when it doesnt it makes a ticking sound

I had someone give me an original xbox like 10 years ago i remember opening it outside and there had to be thousands of roaches in that thing. It took over an hour with a air hose to get them out. It was the most filthy thing ive ever seen.
I do last my mum bought me a ps4 slim like 2-4 months later it do want to turn on and a months later my mum bought me another ps4 slim and did the same thing so now I got two ps4s not working
Also, for those who like doing maintenance/teardowns on their ps4, make sure you plug the Blu-ray drive all the way in. My brother's ps4 remained in a off state until it was fixed. You'd think it be the power supply but it wasn't.
I've just did a whole cleaning of my system and now it doesn't tuen on manually (only remotely via the controller). I have a doubt about the flexible cable that connects the disc drive circuit board to the mother board and i noticed that one corner of that cable is not tightly secured (i can make little movements). I'm wonderimg if that is the cause of my problem.
@@boardy7738 if ur PS4 is the Launch Model, the 1000 model, there is a trick called the washer trick in which u install washers under the Clamps that hold the mobo which will put enough pressure between the APU and the mobo, and this fix is not permanent, the fix can last for days or even months, the other way u can do it is if u reball the main APU by heating it up and Putting new Solder Balls Under the APU but I'm not sure if Reballing is a permanent fix for the BLOD
My son's ps4 won't turn on. The cord is alittle loose. When imove the cord around it makes an electrical cracking sound. wiggling the chord ive gotten the ps4 to beep twice. How can i test to see if it's the power chord or power supply. Can i use a multimeter? Where would i use it and what should i look for? Thank you for helping

So my PS4 turned itself off yesterday while playing, i've checked the plug and changed the fuse but no dice. The only signs of life from the PS4Pro right now is the eject button makes a beep when pressed along with the blue console light coming on momentary (when the console beeps after pressing the eject button) But the disc itself wont even eject after pressing the eject button. Any ideas ?
My Ps4 pro turns off as soon as I turn it on, when I press the power button it flashes the blue light once and it shuts off. Nothing happens until I unplug it and plug it back in, then it just repeats what it did before e
I think my ps4 has a burnt out power supply. I tried switching cables and when i try to turn it on. It does a ‘beep’ but not turning on. I saw the fan turning for a second then not turning. I opened my ps4 before and played it for weeks without any problem.

My wifes PS4 (original) console was working just fine up until a brief power outage. Afterwards, when powered on, it beeps once, then powers off. I have tried the following : -Cleaning the interiors with air duster, swabs, alcohol (91% wipes gently on certain areas with high dust). -Replacing thermal paste & pads for the APU & little ram guys. -Cleaning the power supply its self with air duster. None of which fixed it. Should I try replacing the power supply or the Mother Board ?

My ps4 is once again not working. Bought 2 new ps4 supplys. Both aren’t seeming to make the game power on at all. No lights, no sound, no nothing. The game is completely off. The first time it happened, I bought a new power supply it came in the mail, plugged it up and it worked. That one only lasted 4 months though even though it was still brand new. So me thinking it was the same problem bought ANOTHER power supply. It just came in today put it in and the game isn’t working still. Idk what the issue could be. If a new power supply worked the first time why won’t it work this time?…
Sony has always designed trash hardware PS consoles (PS3/PS4/ PS5?). What kind of design is it that they can use a single fan to blow the super hot air from the GPU/CPU Heatsink through their big power supply, which because it has so many transistors holds the hot air and does not let all the heat out. In addition to the fact that power supplies run hot, are you going to heat it up more by pulling the super hot air from the CPU/GPU heatsink? That's trash hardware design . That is why so many PlayStation die. Sony have not learn or they don't care because they has sold more than 100 millions PS,.... right because they die and you have to buy it again and again! That's why I chose Microsoft ( From Xbox One / S / X / and now Series S/X) because they design the best console hardware.
I think I peed on mine 😢 it was wet when I woke up from a blacked out night… 😂. There was yellow liquid so I assume it’s from that Disc stopped working power bottom too but the rest works fine It’s my digital console but my pro still love cause of wanna be graphics 😅
I have a ps4 SLIM that is ONE WEEK OUT OF WARRANTY, blue light turns on for one second(beeps too), then the system shuts off, and is unresponsive until you unplug it. Same issue if I try again after unplug. Does not stay on long for enough safe mode. Took apart and dusted off insides, fan, power supply, etc to no avail. Please help me out TronicsFix! What do you think the issue is?
I sent my ps4 pro 2 the Texas facility PlayStation, it won't power up blue light comes on 4 a second. I paid $149 it worked 4 a week dead again. I have a 90 day warranty your web page asks what repair I need but didn't see one 4 no power? What would it cost. Do u have a phone # 2 call ? Please let me know cheers.
What about when it won’t respond to the power button (I’ve touched the metal strip myself so I know it’s not the plastic ) But beeps three time when pressing the eject (It won’t accept discs )
I just fixed a PS4 just like that. Bought it off ebay and I was the first one to take it apart, seals intact and so on. No reaction when I pressed the power button. I even took apart the PSU and checked for continuity, everything checked out. Was quite bummed that I had to take it apart, the PS4 Slim has way too many screws. When I turned it around I realized that the ribbon cable that connects the power button board to the mainboard somehow wasn't connected. I reconnected it, attached a power cord and HDMI and turned it on. The light went white, I had a picture on the screen, everything worked. Put everything back together, put a harddrive in, and it was even reset to factory settings. Don't ask me how this happened, maybe the previous owner dropped it in a weird way so that the ribbon cable came loose, I don't know.
I took my ps4 apart to clean and it won’t turn back on. It was running fine just before and the power button is still in place (not broken) how do I get it to start?

I took ours apart and broke the connector on the motherboard side for the small wires that go from the power supply to the motherboard. I thought I fixed it but it still won't turn on. It makes me wonder if I did something to the power supply when I took it apart. Do you have any idea what happened to yours?
it just overheated that's prob the case or ur system is fried. well if it is the case that ur ps4 overheats a 8 dollar fan that connects to the bottom of ur ps4 is what I bought or just wait it out overnight
I had this problem today, I solved it by plugging the console into a different power supply and booted with only the power cable inserted all other cables removed, it started and I reconnected everything else. It was plugged into a clean power supply multi-socket extension that has surge protection so can only surmise this is after a year of perfect operation suddenly decided it no longer likes the PS4 Pro ??
My PS4 slim turns on for about 10 minutes after which it shuts down by itself. It happened 5 times in a day. I have tried another power socket located on my wall. But still it has been shutting down after 5-10 minutes. What could be the cause and the price to fix it ? Thanks a lot for your support and help.

@@noddy1274 I think my old power board blew up my ps4, I press the power button and it goes blue and beeps but then just turns off again, do you think initialising it will solve that?
I need help with my ps4, I don't know what happen to it but every time I boot up a game it shuts down into a black screen, and after that happens I try to turn it on but it won't make any noise, nor beeping sound plus the lights won't even turn on. The only way to make it turn on is if I unplugg it and plug it in again, then it would turn on.
Ive just unplugged. The HDMI and turned my ps4 sideways n finally got mine to stay on I'll update this comment if it fails its only been on a couple minutes

@@Loveyou-bo3kw thanks a lot 😊 It doesn't seem to go to HDMI mode on the tv even though I connected the HDMI cable. I have tried two different HDMI cables, still it didn't switch to HDMI mode.

My PS4 has no power. It worked before I cleaned it. I have 2 ps4s the other one works just fine after cleaning and I followed the same steps to clean this one. I replaced the power supply and still nothing. I noticed there is a scratch on the edge of the motherboard but am not sure if that would cause a problem. I’ve tried multiple cords and several different outlets and still nothing. Any suggestions I would hate to have to buy a new PS4.
tell me is there a scratch on one of the embedded lines IN the motherboard plate, if so you need to buy a new one or run a jumper line re connecting the two lines
John Moruzzi I’m not even sure. It happened when I took the top metal cover off. There’s a scratch along the edge right behind where the hard drive goes. If I could figure out how to post a pic it would help you see what I’m talking about.
Since the day before yesterday my PS4 Pro doesn't want to turn on anymore if I leave it off during the night when I go to sleep. The solution I found was to use a hair dryer to heat it up before turning it on, then it turns on normally and I spend the day playing. I will not turn it off anymore, I will always leave Sleep Mode.
Believe it or not, I have a lizard so I give him crickets, so I was playing ps4 with a buddy and a loud pop came from my ps4 and right away I thought power supply, so I took the power supply out and found out a cricket burnt a spot in the power supply🤮 thanks to your video I was able to take the power supply out and the new one will be here soon so thank you for saving me 300 dollars
I just took my whole ps4 apart and cleaned it all carefully, I used Staples electric duster and I used some of it on the motherboard, it doesn’t turn on anymore
Just left are’s unplugged, vacuumed it, took out ssd, reversed vacuumed to blow air threw and then tried it and powered on. Probably about 10-15 min unplugged. Good luck to those that try this, worked for us.👍
So, the PS4 has been randomly shutting off (been happening at the start of June, never dealt with this situation before) and I'm not sure why. I'm starting to think it's my outlet (it's the only one I can use as of now) because I plugged it directly into the wall and it still doesn't turn on. Repairing an outlet might be expensive and I don't wanna resort to that just yet. I just recently bought another power cable and I do wanna buy another power strip (I've had my current one for some time now).I really don't wanna have to resort to buying another PS4 or doing a repair. Until then, I will try doing troubleshoot options to see it works again. I really hope I don't have the BLOD. It usually shuts off by itself and I don't have to do it manually.

Some say that once the slim overheat the motherboard could damage and there is a chance that it cannot be fix anymore because the slim has a thin motherboard, ex the cpu/gpu will need to reball.. But since it overheat the motherboard damage also the other side of it or it will get cracked therefore you cannot fix it anymore? Is that true or it could be possible to happen since the slim has a thin motherboard? Sorry for my bad english hope you understand what I am trying to say hehehe thank you again sir..
And also if you lived in a cold place, let say you are playing well overtime your ps4 slim will be warm (and that is normal) after you finish using your system again overtime it will cool down right, could that be also damge my ps4 slim motherboard becouse when you are finish using it, it will cool down so the system is still hot, but since the place is also cold? Hopefully I can get a response I know this is an old video. My sons PS4 slim won’t turn on after being unplugged. No light no beep nothing. I took it apart and cleaned it (no roaches) was very dusty it didn’t work. I’ve tested the psu it gets a 12v and 6v reading not sure if that’s good but kinda hoping it’s this as it looks easy to replace but don’t wanna waste money on it if it’s not.Tried different outlets a new cable. Nothing works. Really trying to fix it he just got a new tv for Xmas after waiting 6 months when his broke. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Hi there so yesterday I came home and tried to turn on my playstation which was working before I went out, it made the beep noise but doesn't go on, when I tried now it beeped and the blue light came on for a short second and just went off again. I thought maybe it was the power cord but I tried a different one and it still didnt work just did the same thing. All the other stuff plugged in works perfectly just the ps4 doesn't, what do you think is wrong?
