Could you tell me if you are having any performance issues with your TV I have the problem with the normal PS4 that all games are kinda laggy and there isn’t any solution. My hopes are that it’s just because the TV is too much to handle the console. Is it smooth on PS5?

@@acczumchillen I am not having any issues with the ps5. It looks crisp, clean and beautiful. However it’s some tv apps that kind of suffer from these settings for me. I want to know if I turn off game mode when I go to watch tv if itll save my settings

@@ForceFreddy I think it looks really good and I love the Samsung UI. I’m certainly no expert and have only had the tv for about 6mo. I’d definitely buy it again and it seems like prices have come down. Also enjoy Samsung TV Plus since I dropped cable this year.

@@MyGadgetsWorld Yes the Q80T is great especially for the price. I've seen it in stores. Great picture quality. Great sound. And nice design. Only 1 HDMI 2.1 port tho but that's all you need when gaming. It has 40gbps max bandwidth on that port, and not the 48gbps found in many TV's but thats okay since i been hearing that PS5 can only do 32GBPS at the moment anyways.

Yes. All of the models are listed as at least one 4K 120hz port , mostly it is port #4

I got the 55inch man and theback panel says its 60hz not 120 and I have the q80t that's supposed to be 120 but say 60hz 0n my back panel

Hi I can run 120hz hdr on dirt 5 it seems, with the q90 but my tv doesn't recognise the ps5 when turned on. I have to manually switch source tried all things suggested online nothing works.

I prefer to connect PS5 directly to TV and let TV pass through. That's better to avoid latency

Make sure to enable bitstream in audio settings on PS5

How do you put it into PC mode?

you can just make any port work on HDMI 2.1 at least on my Q80T. if you splice it will register the devices separately to each according HDMI port.

You only Can see it when tour TV Switch to game mode with 4k. That means that you have to play the game and then go the settings. In my case its the game motion plus that i dont see !!

Never heard Samsung showing dark as it is king of brightness and HDR. Make sure you are in game mode.

HGiG would actually make it more darker if it is already dark without it.

The Q80T price have dropped here in South Africa. i have a 20 yr old yamaha avr. was thinking of how to connect it to ps5 & tv. do the Q80T have a optical out port ? Will then go Ps5 to tv via hdmi 2.1 and optical out to the old yamaha (using it in stereo only)

That is why usually you do it the other way around...

The one you get with the ps5 should work

If the soundbar supports HDMI 2.1 it should be fine.

Make sure that you're connected to HDMI port #4 which has gaming icon. First check that please, that is only HDMI 2.1 port

No I have a Q60T as well and a PS5. It is amazing especially for the price point and looks awesome. It has one HDMI 2.1 port but note that this port is capped. So while a 2.1 I do not think it hits above 60hz. Unsure why they capped it. That being said you can’t really do 4K 120 at the same time or even 4K 60 in most games as you have to choose either resolution or performance in the options, one or the other, for now. Either 4K if available or higher fps. It will be a couple or few years before it will really push any of this and we start to see what these systems can do. We’ll get 120 fps games more around then as well but they’ll prob run in 1080p if you want the 120. Fps doesn’t matter as much if you value resolution and even then you’ll be able to do 4K 60 no problem and we do not even really have those that do both on next gen yet. Also, the PS5 caps it’s own HDMI port data so the PS5 is not even a full HDMI 2 system. That’s all negligible though. You got a great tv for the PS5 and I am really happy with this choice. Maybe in a few years I’ll update it again, but I usually favor resolution mode anyway so I’ll never really play at 120hz anyway. I would recommend the Q60T to anyone. Most tv’s actually can’t support 120, they skirt around this with marketing language. Only a couple do, and they’re in the 1500 to 2000 range. Q60T is perfect, and in a few years tv’s will be more mass marketed to adapt to next gen and the more expensive features will be more common and cheaper. But I was really impressed with the Q60T. Especially for the price point. And I see most people agree on this. If that helps.

From what I’ve found I think the cx is the all round best performer. However burn in scares me so I’m going for the q90t

Q90T all the way! I’ve had 2 friend get burn in gaming in the CX and LG won’t do a thing. And the Samsung is MUCH brighter where the CX picture is a lot darker

When all these youtubers started praising the lg cx, I thought Uhm NICE. Then I heard of the burn ins in oleds, and not long after my favourite twitch streamer had a burn in in his oled. Iam staying away from oled's lol. Just bought the q80t, my mind was blown by the 4k content that I played, watching cable tv sucks tho.
