Most underrated game of the last decade. Good story. Great variety of characters. Amazing soundtrack and score. Enjoyable cutscenes. Dense atmosphere. Perfect gunplay, meele and driving mechanics. Right amount of crafting and survival. HORDES! ...unbelievable that they cancelled the sequel.

I wish they made a sequel to this game.

This is one of the underrated and under appreciated games from last gen. It's one of my favorites for PS4.

Excellent game! Just started playing it again a week ago. The way they made the hordes roam around is awesome. Missions can be a bit repetitive but still an amazing story. Riding the bike feels awesome. Lots of people complained about the bike being a gas guzzler but i love it. I never buy gas at camps. Or weapons. Or ammo.If i run out,i run out😁 then leave the bike and go searching for gas cans. Adds more survival element. I wish they made a sequel where scavenging is a bit more rewarding . Finding new gear or armour ,cooking and camping like in rdr2 or sth,secrets ..etc.. A bit stronger rpg elements basically. The ps5 would be a perfect platform for those upgrades. I would preorder in a heartbeat This game is an absolute blast to play

I really really wish they'd make another. One of those games that was way better than I expected it to be.

It’s not about “looking” any more. It’s about making very realistcs sound effects hearing every little thing and the interaction with the objects you see. That’s the key for a merging experience

We all need to flood the PlayStation Twitter with requests for a sequel. I cant believe they dont want to do one.

I love this game. Another fantastic Playstation game. Put alot of time in this world. Riding around on a bike and exploring was fantastic.

I'm happy to say I always had faith on this game, so much I pre-ordered the collector's edition after watching the first gameplay previews, I got it and played it on release day and I really liked it, the lukewarm reviews it got didn't affect how much I liked it, my only complain about it is that it left me wanting more, so much that I have finished it 3 times, once on the PS4, once on the PS5 and the last one on my PC with a few mods.

Sometimes I'll jump on days gone just to use the guns in this game. The sound effects for them are so good! When I reload and hear that magazine "click" it's so satisfying. Such an underrated game....but then again I got it for free so...cant get much better then that.

This was part of the pass so I went ahead and downloaded it to get my zombie fix. It starts off a little cheesy but yes, the story is engrossing and the gameplay is awesome. Highly recommend survival mode.

Such a gem of a game.. Underrated to say the least. Story was a bit linear but that aside its been countless hordes reset and endless rescue missions at my end.. Wish they did a sequel, there is loads of spaces for it but I guess all we have to do is hope. Hordes really make you plan the game style and the rewards are worth it. Especially the bike skins..

So I was wrapping up my umpteenth playthrough the other day. The game never gets old, but I had a small but neat detail happen in a cut scene. I was winding down to the point where I was getting ready to lead the charge against Wizard Island. Now in every other playthrough, I guess I saved too much work for after the final battle, with hordes, missions, and ambush camps. I don't think I've ever previously finished a playthrough with level 3 trust with all camps. But this time, I decided to postpone the last fight until I completely cleared the northern map of all hordes, ambush camps, and infestation zones. This also got me to level 3 trust throughout. So when it came time to ride into battle, I got a really cool cutscene where all the northern camps showed up to ride into battle with me. It was a small detail, but a really cool one, and one I'd never experienced. Maybe everyone else already knew this, but if not, give it a try on the next playthrough.

Best background score in a game. Best memories playing this game.

For me it is simply the best game in this category. I liked it a lot more than The las of Us 1 and 2. Totally entertaining. The best story. Incredible characters. lots of missions. Excellent Weapons. Excellent gameplay. The best design of Zombies. a large and beautiful map. The surprising story at all times. THE BEST GAME. I think the Studio DOESN'T DESERVE TO HAVE THIS GAME BECAUSE THEY SHOULD HAVE MADE A SECOND PART A LONG AGO. I HOPE THE STUDIO WILL BANKRUPT AND BE SOLD TO ANOTHER STUDIO THAT DOES VALUE THE GAME AND ITS INCREDIBLE STORY, AND VALUE THE PLAYERS MAKING THE SECOND PART OF THIS GAME.

Bend Studios really pushed Unreal Engine to the max with this game. It's so underrated. I play TLOU and graphically Days Gone has it beat!

Amazing game, I almost didn't buy it as I'd never heard much about it but loved every minute, and that first time you across a hord of literally hundred of them sprinting towards you and your trying to jump on your bike....

One of my all time favorite games. The story was top tier in the top 3 all time. Whole package in my top 5 of all time games. The game play was a little basic and predictable maybe a little unrealistic. The story is where it shined 100%. I liked how the zombies were actually secondary in the game. Not the main focus or main villain. The surprise 3/4 of the way through the game. No game has ever got me like that. This game easily could be made into a movie. Could have had dlc or even a sequel. The next one could be about a cure

Hands down on of the greatest games of all times. Those "critics" have absolutely no taster what so ever, they should be fired, because of them bend studios and Sony have decided not to do the sequel. Which by the way was suppose to be amazing. I believe there is an online petition going around to get them to make the sequel.

I think a lot of people forgot how good the graphics and animation was for this game. Ps4 on a decent 4K hdr tv. It looked great. Yes on ps5 it’s really nice. I think it’s a little more immersive now. I agree it needs a sequel. No prequel.

Never understood why this game got so much hate. It got everything we could ask for in a post-apocalyptic game without exaggerating stuff. Story was well written too where you actually cared about the characters. Sure it had issues at launch, but i played this 1 year later so i didn't get any of those issues.

Bought this on steam when it came to pc and remember seeing the price of £45, which almost deterred me from playing it since this was an old title at the time. After 6 or 7 completions I can confidently say I would have paid 60+ for this gem.

A hidden gem one of the best Zombie games ever made

Now that I have a PS5, I'm replaying the game because I really loved it and it looks even better on the new gen console. It's a great open world game with excellent stealth and combat. The cutscenes can get a bit annoying from time to time, but they're still not as tedious as Kojima games can get. I forgot how funny the NPCs' reactions are when you rescue them on the side of the road. It's sad that there won't be a sequel but maybe someone in the future will get the rights to the game and continue the story

I had this game for free when I owned my PS4pro and I finally got my PS5 last month, and I was absolutely blown away by this game myself. The physics of the world are amazing. The combat with humans and zombies are completely different and offer tactical gameplay. Sony is so dumb for turning them down on making a sequel to this game
