The Frozen Tundra was the worst mission for me. I had high expectations for it because I thought it was gonna be like that underwater mission from Ghosts or the ice climbing mission for 2009 MW2. If I were to rewrite that mission this would be the story. TF141 blows the ice but there’s no Makarov or prisoner. TF141 resurfaces and decide to head toward the Soviet prison camp. That section will play out like the ice climbing mission from 2009.

I can’t believe all the negative comments about this game. This is my favorite mission of the game and I just love the takedown animation underwater. It’s so unnecessary but it’s so detailed: from the color of the skin on the freezing enemy, to the way he takes your mask off, to the way you put it back on before pulling your knife out of him and watching the blood leave a trail in the water, to the way the water drains out of your mask once it’s on properly. Excellent.
