yeah, i kinda wish they would just make an animated one like most jrpgs do, even lower budget games get them. CH game ops are just the character sprites with tons of shitty effects
And then when PS6 drops: Go! Go! Choujigen Game Neptune 10: Re⭐Nepworld: Remastered Definitive Edition & Nepugia, featuring Fang from the 'Fairy Fencer F' series.
MeipuruAlphaYT Yeah, but it’s just that, I have been wanting to play rebirth 1 but my computer broke and now I don’t have steam, I used to have a ps vita but my dad gave it away. So I really want to get it. If you don’t want to get it’s ok!
@@wedasantika6079 Exactly their roles are kinda messed up now, they're supposed to be antagonists for the first part of the saga which is not a bad think i don't know why they're pushing their roles so much
I'm excited to play this game yet again, rebirth 1 is one of my favourites alongside VII, but I also hope this can bring the glory of Neptunia to new people, ya know?
weird that they have the candidates uzume and plutia in a nep 1 remake. Wonder if that means they'll change the story again, to fit them in. ik candidates and plutia(as dlc) were in the first remake but that's in the post game with basically no relevance to the story.
tbh i wouldn't want the only game in the 10th anniversary of the game that made my company actual decent profits to just be producing perfection 2 with guns either
@@ricardowilliams3765 I have no idea why. Producing Perfection was good and VVVTunia is nothing like Producing Perfection. Have you even PLAYED the game? I have. VTubers and Idols are nowhere near the same.
nope. nope nope nope. This is Ridiculous. this is the 10th anniversary(In JP) and this is what they give us? as a fan since the Original came out on the PS3 in 2011 in the US, I am severely disappointed. I've been waiting for a new mainline game after the original VII came out in 2016. sure the stories aren't great, They keep re-using the same dungeons and monsters, and sometime Arfy, but I love the characters and their interactions. hell I was surprised AF when I saw the new monsters in VII. lol. I was like "holy crap. they actually gave use a new monster!" XD When I first played the PS3 version, I never heard of the game. I just saw the box, loved the art and bought it. in the first five minutes after hearing Blanc yell "SHUT UP THUNDER T*TS" It was so un expected that I laughed for a bit and new I was going to love this game. and I've been a fan ever since. lol I guess you could say they had me at "shut up thunder t*ts" it also had the best English Voice acting in the entire series. I was sad when they changed quite a bit of things with the Re-Birth series. changing some personalities, background on how they met the characters(Re;birth 2), made her love vert way way to much compared to the PS3 version as a whole, and her character design.(Yes, I noticed the eye design change on iffy. lol can you guess who is my favorite character XD) certain plot points(In all three Re-birth's), THE WAY NEPTUNE TALKED(I'm looking at you, Re;Birth 2), the HORRIBLE English voice direction with the people who played the characters for years. the ENG voice direction is so bad from the re;birth series up, I can't listen to the game in ENG anymore. and I've played pretty much almost all the games in English. I was also disappointed when the took some of my favorite scenes from the first PS3 game out of re;birth 1. When I first played Re;birth 1 the way it was structured actually made me so bored I put the game down for months before I could finish it. I did finish it and I did like some of the new things they added to the story. but the Re;birth series in the Super dimension doesn't compare to the real hyperdimension that was in the PS3 games. I guess that's why the re;births games take place in a different dimension even though re;birth 1 is also it's own game. I also miss my girls Nisa and Gust. sorry about the small rant. I needed to get that off my chest after seeing this Non-Neptune like song for another damn port of a port of a re-make of a series I enjoyed for the past 9 years.
they made a remake of Megadimension Neptunia Victory 2 (VII) and it was much worse than the original D; the higly advertised VR feature was incredible bad and the battle System was very unplayable. Now this company are at it again trying to make another Remake :0 I love the franchise, but i feel sorry for the poor fans :I ~ like myself who will buy it anyways :D
@Phoenix Om3ga I hate it when people DON'T complain about corporate predation. I hate it when people DON'T have enough self-respect to just be willingly walked over. This same fucking story has happened FOUR TIMES now. Re;Birth 1, 1+ and ReVerse 5 are all inferior to the OG. You want to be a loser doormat, your choice. Don't expect the rest of us to be retarded losers. This game was great advertising for the XBox Series X.
nah, naptunia has infinit possibilities. You can change everything just by introducing one or two new characters and some sort of new dimension, that would do the job absolutely. Because Neptunia itself is funny as hell no matter what the plot is. In fact Mega Dimesion VII was build around Uzume just adding her was absolutely enough to run another 100+ hours game. The problem with the game developers is they are rather lazy sitting on comedy gold and doing nothing with it :D
@@eduuklee9453 "Infinite possibilities" is not a refutation of "written themselves into a corner" at best, a non sequitur, at worst a cheap insert that fails as an argument. "Because Neptunia itself is funny as hell no matter what the plot is." A)Preference argument with no merit B)No, not really. I didn't like a single joke in Megatagmension. C)"He reaped and sewed his own seed" "Neppy-chan, can we milk you?" This leads into either one of two situations. Situation One, you don't find these quotes funny and therein invalidate your claim. Two, you prove yourself to have low standards for humor by finding these jokes funny and lower the integrity of your own argument. Neptunia doesn't just have a massive writing problem, it also has a massive direction problem.
@@OneManCast as i understand the term of "writting something into a corner" means not being able to introduce new content, because nobody would like it. Thats the case with Starwars, Pirates of the Carribean or Lord of the Rings. But Neptunia has infinit possibilities lol. Just make Nep go to a new place and boom there we go again D; highly educated, earnest and serious people are not funny. fun is all about being dumb :0
@@eduuklee9453 Your understanding of "writing something into a corner" is inherently inferior. It means nothing of the sort. Its referring to a lack of creativity and originality. The problem with your statement, is that it is very easy to come to the conclusion of writing themselves into a corner. Neptunia has been coasting itself on remakes and spinoffs to the point where there is far more noncanon spinoffs than canon games, ultimately diluting its value as a story. You can produce "new content" while not truly being anything new. I am glad you mentioned Star Wars because Neptunia and Star Wars both rely on nonsensical namebranding and nostalgia factors instead of writing new content. Also, Lord of the Rings has been out of circulation for a while and Pirates of the Caribbean is an anomaly. The problem with "infinite possibilities" is as I've explained in previous posts. Every series has "infinite possibilities" and as such, the stuff you both complain about and compliment result in the same basket. "Infinite possibilities" is an empty buzzword that demands for you not to have any critical thinking or critique. "highly educated, earnest and serious people are not funny. fun is all about being dumb :0" Several problems. A)This is a falsehood. B)This false assertion is why humor has fallen in the recent years. You create a byproduct of mediocrity and inferiority by giving no standards. If you truly believe that tripe, please never post an opinion again. C)Monty Python. Mel Brooks. Even BORAT to a certain degree. So many smart and witty people who are highly educated, earnest and serious. Your statements are only indicative of your inferiority, not of a valid critique of comedy. Never express an opinion again if you're willing to be this wrong and retarded.
@@OneManCast I think creativity and being original doesnt matter at all, no matter what kind of text or art you are working for. Its the wrong kind of attitude that has a very toxic effect. You can not choose if you are creative or if your work is original, all you can do is to comit to something you love and make it your own. If you are chasing goals like becoming successful or popular than your project is doomed to begin with. everything starts with the right attitude, the realization of who you are and whats the deal with yourself is by far more important than anything else. Borat hasnt written itself to a corner yet xD but monty python was rather jumping from one independent film into another independent film without considering sequels as a good option D; so he avoided corners even before any possibility could show up D; excuse me, im the last person who would suck up onto mainsteam opinions or political influences, i am red pilld and angry AF. No, no it is not. That is ridiculous. How low must your self-respect be? It is better to have no game for a couple of years and get a good game instead of the following: Megatagmension 4GO VIIR (to an extent) The Re;Birth trilogy And onwards. Super Nep RPG, VVVTunia and Hyperdevotion Noire were pretty good though.
@@OneManCast Yeah dude cuz totally everyone loves waiting years for a new release (Good or bad). I'd definitely take some mediocre to good games every few years to get a good game or original game then wait one century for the next mainline. 4GO was a banger and The Rebirth trilogy is good on its own. Megatagmension left me disappointed. VIIR was unnecessary but you know the Neptunia series decides to remake every game, good or bad. Hyperdevotion Noire was decent, I'd give it a B- really only because of a few generals & Noire. Story and Gameplay was mediocre though. Also to answer your question, My self respect is very low because I had to make a reply to a comment and I play niche Moe games.
@@reitune3951 New releases coming later give a higher percentage of quality than trash like 4GO, Megatagmension, etc. "I'd definitely take some mediocre to good games every few years to get a good game or original game then wait one century for the next mainline." So I guess there's my answer. You have zero self-respect. "4GO was a banger" 4GO was a glitchy mess with no decent MP, constant bandwidth issues that rival 2005 Runescape, insufferable, worst versions of each of the characters to the point where the villains and antiheroes are more likeable, NPCs that boil my blood so badly that it makes me wish the villains succeeded instead of the main cast, not to mention the CTRL C, CTRL V mechanics from previous Tamsoft titles. Its irredeemable trash. "The Rebirth trilogy is good on its own." There're two MASSIVE problems with that statement. A)Re;Birth trilogy is literally just Victory and worse versions of each game. They don't even stand alone, let alone WELL. The mechanics are a rehash of Victory's, which was a rehash of Mk2's, which was a retcon's of the OG. B)The story is literally watered down in every game except Re;Birth 3, which was still retaining all the bloated lacking-in-glory Victory content+DLC that only further increases the run time. "Megatagmension left me disappointed. " Probably because Tamsoft doesn't know how to make a Neptunia game to save a life. Not surprising considering its the actual worst of the series. "VIIR was unnecessary but you know the Neptunia series decides to remake every game" Debatable. At least there was justification. When it was released, it was done so with the following of the temporary VR trend. Having a PS5 is not a justification for a remake. "Hyperdevotion Noire was decent, I'd give it a B- really only because of a few generals & Noire." Easily 4th or 5th in the series because the generals were actually entertaining. "Story and Gameplay was mediocre though." Yeah, because using yuri as an actual mechanic is the mediocre experience, not the Re;Birth trilogy. Uh huh. Let alone a story that actually treats Arfoire as a serious villain, gives Noire a sense of respectability and more than a generic tsundere trope, who makes a better protag than Neptune, etc. "Also to answer your question, My self respect is very low because I had to make a reply to a comment and I play niche Moe games." Wow, I responded to this section by section, but wow. Seriously, THAT is your qualifier about self-respect? Replying to a respectable opinion and liking moe blobs? Not liking shitty versions of a game series that had games of value and meaning, but responding to a respectable opinion of someone who's notorious in the fanbase and liking moe blobs. Thanks for lowering the bar for the Neptunia Fandom.
You're welcome :) I'm not sure if you understood if that was a joke or not but in either case it's fine. I don't feel on debating on what games were good or bad in the Neptunia series because I enjoyed most of them myself, flaws or not. Call it lowering the bar, I call it taking what I can get.
@@reitune3951 "Taking what you can get" is incredibly unhealthy. You should have some self-respect and demand the content be better so that the company makes better content.
Knowing Neptunia they're all kinda linked. Every game takes place in a different dimension (more like universe) where events from previous games are more or less the same. This franchise it's kinda complicated tho.
@@amordelohn_ I know the series is complicated. But we have no clue what happened in the past of the CPUs in Rebirth 2. I'd like to know what happened in the past.
@@nanya524 it could be like re;birth 1 or maybe not, who knows. But eventually I'd like to know what happened even before that game, maybe the origin of the CPUs and especially to know more about Uranus.
Well I'd suppose Mega dimension and virtual stars, and plenty will be available with backwards compatibility. Plus PS5 has a feature called game boost which makes the ps4 game more ps5 caliber.
I'm actually wondering. does sony have an exclusivity deal on the Neptunia games or something? because no way the PS5 is gonna be restocked for when this game comes out.
@@OneManCast Ah, I just think that the vocals, to be honest don't sound Neptuniaish. Y'know compared to kirihirake and the rest. Yes also some more guitar would be cool
@@GalaxyNeptunia A rather esoteric claim. I'm pretty sure nao is not the only one who sings for Neptunia. Is 4GO's great OP "not Neptunia"? I'm of the mind that the only good thing about this game, is going to be the OP.
I like the trailer but im kind of tired of them using the same sprites, I wish they could add different variations of them, I know its small detail but that would make the trailer more anticipating
Not really hyped for this. I will probably play it since I am series fan but... Remakes are nice but I do not think they are necessary here... I would welcome new title instead.
Here everyone is debating and arguing about whether they should have remade rebirth 1....... and here I am a random soul thinking boy I wish Sonic Adventure and remake were even in the same title card
@@cherryblodx348 Exactly. Spin-offs. Imagine how much quicker we would have had if they didn't bother to be assholes and retcon their OG trilogy. Sure, I may love Hyperdevotion and Producing Perfection, but neither were necessary and it was Sting and NISA who made those with minimal input from Compile Heart and Naoko Mizuno.
@@OneManCast Mizuno enjoyed Hyperdevotion and PP, but she didn't like secretary and producer-san. Sting was being asshole to the fans. Nisa had a finale game with PP then began failed. Many people didn't like PP. VllR wasn't made by Mizuno it was Sony's decision is to promote for VR console.
@@cherryblodx348 She doesn't have to like secretary and producer. Others do. A writer can hate some creations her fans like and vice versa. She clearly loves Plutia but I absolutely despise her. So "author's enjoyment" plays no factor here. Sting wasn't being an asshole to the fans. Major false assertions. Producing Perfection had the most endearing version of each character in there. Its main issue was the mob boss. In an even more literal sense. "Many people didn't like PP" Argumentum ad Populum is not a legitimate argument. "VIIR wasn't made by Mizuno it was Sony's decision to promote the VR console" well this is blatantly false. VIIR is almost the same exact story as VII, so no, she did. Even further, "Sony" didn't make the game. Compile Heart did.
While everyone else is complaining that it's another remake of Rebirth 1, I'm just hoping that they make the fact that it's another remake of Rebirth 1 matter in the grand scheme of things. Why? Because this is Neptunia. If any franchise is to make a plot _that_ meta, it's this one.
@@thomasthecoolkid7228 Not "stuck in a time loop" . You can't even get the concept right. Steins;Gate is a time loop. Superdimension is gathering supporters to kill the Time Eater. Superdimension is far more Deus Ex Machina commentary than a time loop.
@@OneManCast Look at the edit. I clarified what I mean by the Superdimension. I didn't mean the world in IF's game, I meant the one where the nations are on their own versions of Angel Island from Sonic.
@@thomasthecoolkid7228You made that edit after my post. Don't move the goalposts. Even further, all the more baseless your statements are. There's not even an alterated timeline in that dimension. Same exact story, but with different makers because NISA and Gust pulled out.
Never played re birth 1 I did watch lost pause play through it but I forgot so this is gonna be cool to go back to where it all started especially for us that didn't have a PC or vita
This song is really good but for some reasons it sound like the signer is a male because most neptunia opening were sing by female maybe it a female I don't know and having a male signer to sing an opening and ending would be alright in my option if the next main game of the neptunia series feature a young Male as a Protagonist that will likely never gonna happened but hey a person can dream.
It seems like IF / Comp makes a remake if more jumped on during that time. For example: People loved MK2 and Victory so they made Re;Birth. Megadimension was great so they remastered it. People loved Blanc vs Zombies so Cyberdimension came. So every time they like something they rerelease it for a larger console / area for everyone to jump on it again- which pisses long-time players off.
Actually they remade the first three games because they've been in bad blood with Nippon Ichi and Gust so they removed their personification in the games (Nisa and Gust).
I didn't like Victory. It was trash. Same goes for Megatagmension. Every time I see hype for predatory cash grabs like this, while knowingly aware that they're getting a 3rd or 4th version of the same story, I get more and more disappointed with the fanbase.
@@aubreyholdinggun Having a mission crash and getting no cash or EXP is a battle (Megatagmension), zombification if you die (4GO), also I'm pretty sure Action U isn't online. No, none of these games handled online well. All of them were garbage crapshoots. I wouldn't define 2005 Runescape-esque multiplayer quality to be "good" but good for you if you have such low standards.
Kinda meh tbh. Doesn't feel like a Neptunia Opening. Edit: music doesn't give me that vibe... it's neither the same composer as previous ones nor art style.
Shame the series has come to this. I still have hope for another main game but I'm starting to enjoy their other IPs more (most recently, Dragon Star Varnir and Death End Re;Quest 2). Also Plutia worst character lmfao
This song doesn't fit Neptunia very well. It would fit in a more battle heavy beat 'em up game like Dragon Ball FighterZ, Jump Force, Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Heroes. It's rock and there's no consistent rhyming and rhythm that we're all used to.
I thought the opening was going to be one the few positive things about the game. Rather than garbage, I feel it's out of place to the animation of the opening.
@@OneManCast P.S. You are entitled to your opinion of liking this song so its gold to you in a sense. Not going to deny this. Now that we get that out of the way, here is my personal opinion. This is the worst song out of all the Nep-related songs, including the 'extras' (like IF's "character song", etc,) It also doesn't quite mesh well with the "even more boring than usual" OP cinematic nor did it mesh well with the general theme of Rebirth 1's story (Which is significantly more light hearted than say... VII ) Also the song ends on something like a flat(?) or a sharp(?). Which sucks imo. Even Super Nep Rpg's OP is better and I didn't really like that one.
