@@glucky9970 Xbox has Game Pass, has more of a diverse line up, and superior backwards compatibility. PS5 is just lazy "movie games" that you can also buy on PS4 at full price. Sony is anti-consumer. PC games aren't even optimized properly half the time.
@@rinzlur-k6m I agree I think people neglect Xbox or dont give it enough credit because it doesnt have as many or big blockbuster cinematic games like Sony but Game Pass is most definitely a service that makes Xbox as a concole very appealing. Not for me, I play on PC and have a PS5 but I can see the appeal for many others
I most likely will NOT be buying a PS5 Pro. Most of the games on the PS5 thus far have either been remastered or upscaled to a PS5 version. I need to see more tittles before deciding if it's worth. it.
In January/February, many “leakers” said the Slim wouldn't have a disc drive, just an expansion cable connected to a device working as a disc drive. Recently, my friend bought a PS5 Slim with a disc drive so that was a morale booster. But, if the Pro doesn't have one, I won't buy PlayStation again😂. I'm planning to get it since I skipped PS5 and PS5 Slim, still playing on my Xbox One X, because I expected Sony to release a Pro. Plus I’m tired of waiting for a PS5, might as well get the most powerful one when it comes out. I didn't wait this long for the Pro to lack a disc drive😭😭, so I'll hope for the best.
you only need 60 fps for story games. for comp games yeah sure go for frames but i'd rather have the best possible graphics as long as it hits a constant and locked 60
Nobody cares abt ur opinion on this, if u want mad fps just buy a pc, consoles are for great quality experience with fair enough fps.. We dont have ro play competitive shooter games on consoles.. Pc is the way to go
My PS4 has a long time now loading problem that's trying my patience. It's time for a upgrade. I started on a PS1 then move on to a PS2 . Grabbed the PS4Pro 4K when it was launched in New South Wales Australia. Now awaiting for the preorder in September to order the new PS5Pro to be linked up to my Sony Bravo XR 55" TV. 🇦🇺🙂
I have a ps5 and honestly i feel like im still playing on a ps4 pro the only difference ive noticed is the loading times the ps5 should be able to run 4k 60fps+. Before the ps5 even came out, everyone and even the advertising of the ps5 were saying how powerful the ps5 will be, but i haven't seen it. Most games would run on 60fps but the graphics would be 1080p or 4k 30fps. I know its the devs so if the devs arent gonna use the whole ps5 power theres no point on getting and ps5 pro. I swear when the ps5 pro comes out and the devs makes a game and advertise the game and say something like thanks to the ps5 pro cpu or graphics power, we were able to pull 4k 60fps with vrr and ray tracing on the game and we werent able to get it on the regular ps5. I swear im gonna lose it.
its so true unfortunately. To be honest even if someone buys a pro they wont see any benefit whatsoever if they do not own a 120hz tv. I play cyberpunk on my oled c3 with ray tracing and i get 4k at 60 fps. So for me a pro wont be worth it. Its hust too many variables that come into play that most people ignore and they jump the wagon of better graphics more fps with no knowledge behind their decision just to boast i have latest tech at home. Thats why Sony and all corpos milk money from people like cows!

you can already play old games depending on what level of subscription you have to playstation plus. the highest subscription gives you access to classic games and the middle and top tier give you access to the games catalogue. as for cross play, why wouldn't it have cross play? that less a console decision and more a game publisher decision.

@@Stance1988 You simply can't "optimize" a CPU bottleneck out of a game without a complete re-design of the engine. And even with the best optimization in the world, a lot of game logic simply cannot be multi-threaded as it introduces too much latency in the core-to-core interconnect and operation priority. You should find out how a CPU works.

Remember when Half Life pushed the Xbox to its knees and Valve decided "Let's put in on the PlayStation 2 with less than half the raw power" and still made it work? The CPUs in modern consoles are powerful enough to do current generation games as is, they're not about to bottleneck current games.

considering the amount of cpu tied games coming out, there will likely not be any amazing performance modes. games will target 60 but not even reach it
Rockstar did update Red Dead redemption 2 for the PS5 it currently runs at 60 frames he needs to fix that you can't be putting out false information I like the video but after you said that I realized you might not even have half of your information right if you didn't know about that a kind of kills your credibility zone of tech

Love my PS5. No issues, so it does not make sense to get the pro. For those who do not have one yet, then yes, get the pro. I think PS4 pro was phenomenal, and once PS5 came out, it was incredible. Why fix what isn't broken? Maybe that's just me. Plus, not that many exclusives and not once did pro mention backwards compatibility like the Xbox Series X.
Doesnt matter if the GPU got a 3x increase in teraflops when the bottleneck is going to be the CPU and the CPU only has a 10% bump vs the ps4 pros 30% bump. Only thing thats going to be interesting is how much of a bottleneck it is and if their new Ai upscale is going to work well with the games.

Agreed. They would simply bleed too much money from loss on hardware costs. I predict US$650 for the first year, then a slight price drop as rumours of the PS6 begin to swirl.
Nah insiders say they are going the route like the PS5 slim. So the attachable disk version is aimed to be $599 and digital $499 and the standard PS5/slim is getting marked down also.
@@aftermath5878It's not stable though, it regularly drops into the 40's. I agree though, if Pro can play ER at 60 stable I'll buy one. My PC would already be able to do that, but I'd prefer to play ER on the couch.
Developer here... I am sick of "leaks" "3x performance". You can suck performance out if you optimise poorly. Companies do not spend enough time to optimise because Time To Market is more important for them. We have more heat generated....more power consumption etc. AI wont help much at launch.
PS5 Pro is specifically made to handle GTA VI cuz Rockstar is in business with Sony. That's why they're making it 3x faster. That says a lot about GTA VI. Get ready to see some crazy graphics.
I still use my ps4 pro. Was going to order a ps5 today but I might just wait until the ps5 pro comes out. So i know my upgrade from the ps4 pro to a ps5 pro should be like OH YEA!!! I heard it might be $650 but thats ok my last PC was around $2,500 and if the leaked spec's are right the ps5 pro should be the jump I need :)
The PSSR will be a significant glimpse of the future of console gaming. Jumping to 4K native is a massive drain on the GPU but if using PSSR you would upscale to 4K and hit 60fps on most games, it would be so smooth you really wouldn’t know it’s not 4K native
I WIlL be buying it. More games at 60fps is a welcome feature to me. I have a 4k OLED display that I’m barely pushing with my current console XSX. Love my series X but there are some exclusives that I’ve been wanting to play for quite some time.
And what happened to the issues with coil whine and other stuff ? They used the cheapest materials like a weak Kondensator for 0,10 Cents more they would have done it right 😂 for real I hope with GTA6 we will get a PS6 with quality in Development and materials. Because that’s the biggest scam they did ever. Most of my friends and me had to return it to Sony because it was so fast broken.

Well I mean this was to be known tho leaks have been out since 2022 from credible insiders that’s been right before in the past. Hell devs had dev kits for the pro way back on 2022 so if people keep up and research you’ll be in tune with what’s going on which is why I skipped the standard Ps5. Also there’s millions still playing PS4 and PS4 pro so yeah those are people this would definitely be aimed to.
Ray tracing is a good tech but apparently everyone wants better fps first. Gaming companies need to think about this. Also ps5 has nt seen many games they need to make more games for ps5 only then ps5pro will make any sense
If its really 4 times stronger then a ps5 and around 500-600 dollars thats gona be an insane bang for your buck. The ps5 is already better then 1,000 dollar pc builds.
I still haven't upgraded from my PS4 pro, as there's no real reason for me to do so. Once GTA VI comes out, I might pick one up, but for now I'll keep spoiling myself with fixing and using older generation consoles, like my Xbox 360 thats already backward compatible with most of the XBox games I want to play, my WiiU for any Wii/WiiU titles I want to play, my 3ds, my switch, and of course my PC. Another thing, I really hope that render accurately reflects the PS5 Pro's design, as the "flat" design looks so much better in my opinion. I've never really been a huge fan of the bathroom trashcan design of the newer Xbox Series X/S or the PS5's popped collar look. Plus, the recent trend of digital only is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion. I enjoy things like Gamepass on Xbox, and Playstation Plus on Playstation where you can download/play a ton of games for a relatively small fee, but why not give us a console with an integrated disc drive, AND give us a large 1-5tb hard drive? I guess we can't have our cake and eat it too.
I'd go Pro. The difference between PS4 Pro and PS5 aren't that big and unless there's a PS5 exclusive that you just can't wait to play I'd wait and grab the bigger upgrade.
Are you sure it will have the RED light like you show in the opening photo? Is Sony really just emptying the warehouse inventory of NOS plastic PS5 shells with a 20 % performance upgrade to entice the un-wise buyer?

That GPU 33.5 TF is in 16bit format. Why didn't you report that? In 32bit format the GPU is 16TF. Remember, the GPU in the Series X is 12.1TF in 32bit format. Sony is definitely misleading people on that one.
