@@matthasl4164 That's true I had to update the console to register the disc drive. But the console has wifi and you can always ask a friend for internet if you don't have any lol
Yes Digital Foundry has a video on that ! :D I think it's becaus SONY is planning to release the PS5 Pro either when GTA VI hits or in November this year lol
This will probably be it. The board inside is nearly the same as the old model, and chips stopped radically shrinking long ago. Base PS4 never got a third revision.
@@AltCutTV I think there is a Digital Foundry or Linus Tech video on that ! They quietly already revisioned the Fat PS5 and the Slim is essentially identical to that I think.
@@Ivanimirus Yes, the board did get slightly smaller. But mainly just parts sticking out around the fan. Which is a huge thing (!) that is probably going to have to remain as such. It was a bit similar with PS2 ironically. The main board is actually not that much smaller. But the processor improvements and such made it possible to reduce the PSU significantly. Anyway, once the pro is around. Maybe the the slim will really at least feel slimmer again. ;)
I got the original og PlayStation 5 last year in October 2023 from Best Buy as an early Birthday gift/ Christmas gift for myself enjoy the console very much and congratulations on getting a PlayStation 5 Slim sir
Hey thanks dude ! :D I don't know if I will keep the console as I've got some concerns with the horizontal feet and am still trying out games. Initially I was also a bit let down by the UI / OS compared to my Series X cause on Xbox everything is color customizeable :D but l started playing Infamous First Light ( I missed most of PS4's great hits cause I've never owned a playstation before lol) and omg the game is so good !!! Hope your enjoying your console my dude !!!
@Ivanimirus I just got a Xbox Series X like 2 weeks ago on June 14th from Walmart it was on sale for $449.00 can't believe how small the console is but enjoying some games on the console love it
