O yes. Awesome that you got a ps5. Welcome to the family. I recommend getting the stray game. The cat game if you don't already know about it. I'm so glad that it got a physical release for ps5. Also I recommend kena bridge of spirits. Astro bot play room comes with the console. The game fully uses the controller. It's amazing.

May I suggest getting an external hard drive to use as cold storage for your PlayStation 5 titles if you feel a compatible internal ssd is a little out of your price range at the moment Also congrats I barely got mine as well so I know the feeling of joy at finally getting one after almost 2 years of searching Enjoy it

@JesterHavoc A 100% rating is $3,332.06. That’s NOT much when you consider that’s all you’re getting, no chance for OT/time and a half etc. or when I consider how much more I could’ve made if I never joined in the first place. I joined because I grew up in Boston and personally knew people who lost loved ones in the 9/11 attacks. I was in high school when it happened and I remember telling my best friend at the time as soon as we saw the second plane hit, I remember my exact words: “Well fuck college, I am joining up! You DO NOT FUCK WITH AMERICA!!!” And then when I found out a couple days later what happened to some people I care about it made any lingering doubt vanish, I knew for a fact as soon as I graduated I would be joining up, which is exactly what I did. Of course I didn’t plan of getting hurt on my second deployment. As much as I’d love to make it seem all badass like I was in a firefight or got hit by a roadside IED as you know if you served the reality is much less “cool” than that and that 90% of the people who serve don’t get to do that shit. I was hurt due to an equipment failure on the R-11 refueler I drove (it’s a 6,000 gallon fuel truck) and the hoses on them are extremely heavy when not evacuated because Jet fuel weights 6.7 pounds per gallon so when the hose is full it’s so heavy in order to pull it out you literally have to sling it over your shoulder and get a running start. Well long story short the hose reel broke and I ended up getting taken off my feet and fucking my back up. I finished up my deployment and when I got home started trying to figure out what was wrong and outside of two ruptured discs they couldn’t find anything else. Well after I was medically discharged several years after that I went and saw someone who found all the issues. Unfortunately they progressed to where some are permanent mainly the Degenerative Disc Disease and Spinal Stenosis. Plus because of the STUPIDITY of our country when it comes to pain killers I can’t get anything for the pain that I live with EVERY DAY, and I won’t buy them off the street because I don’t want to go to jail. I won’t even get into how idiotic it is that people VILIFY those of us who need painkillers and yet they think drugs like alcohol and tobacco/nicotine are PERFECTLY FINE!! Anyways I wish you luck on getting your rating. How long have you been waiting? What are you currently rated at? When did you get discharged? What are you trying to get rated for if you don’t mind sharing that information (if you don’t want to I understand)?

I’ve actually recently considered saving up to buy a Switch, however I don’t think switch has any of the sports games that I play or RDR 2!!! It seems like a kids handheld IMO!!

It’s definitely more for family fun, I only wanted it to play Smash lol but I’ve been wanting a PS5 for awhile and I finally got one coming in, there’s games I wanted to play that are only on the new gen consoles so I’m stoked

@@Leikavee I got my PS5 a few months back and I ended up getting a second controller too, because I often run the batteries out in one gaming session, and much prefer playing wirelessly. Having a second controller and a charger is perfect. I have a charger which charges both the Joy-Cons and the Pro controller for my Switch, and it means they are always on hand and ready to go. You won't regret having those for your PS5 at all, and in fact you'll come to be really happy you have them. As Cindy said, Horizon Forbidden West is an amazing game (as is Kena, though it's much more simplistic). However, I would highly recommend playing Horizon Zero Dawn first, if you haven't already played it, because that's a magnificent game too, and you don't want to play them out of order. I'm so excited for you! There are so many tremendous exclusive games on the PS5 that I've hardly been using my Switch lately...

Loved the 1st Horizon, still have to dive into forbidden west

@@Gaming-Enthusiast funnily enough, I loved horizon zero Dawn but after I finished it. I totally lost interest. I’ll pick up forbidden west but only when it’s really cheap. As I’m unsure if I can get back into it.
