I made this sketch when I died 30 times in the span of 10 minutes playing Elden Ring. I love both consoles so don't come at me, bro. Playstation is fire and Nintendo Switch is fire.
I agree I don’t think we need crazy power but I do think the Switch is just a it too weak compared to other consoles, and the next console might be slightly less as powerful as ps4 where I think it should be like slightly more than ps4 but not quite near ps5/xbox series(since that’s just not the market Nintendo is touched into anymore)
Elden Ring is for anyone of the appropriate age. But it is not for everyone. Including me, I'll get into the sub-genre with Dark Souls first since that's on Switch and Xbox.
@@felipeemanuel5790what are you on about the number of repeat bosses I fought totalled to around two and that was only because of the erdtree avatars. They don’t do it enough for it to be an important problem
oled seems overrated tbh, whats so good abt a slightly bigger screen if ur probably gonna play on TV anyways, I mean yeah the screen is more enjoyable if ur travelling but thats it, tbh the oled was made just for nintendo to make more money
@@IronFact6478 it makes the game look a ton better and it also has upgraded sound, double the storage, and as well an upgraded dock with a LAN port and more resistant to scratching the screen
That’s what I’m saying, if I could afford a ps5 I’d take it but I have a series s, a switch, and a pc all for certain games, I want a ps5 for Spider-Man and god of war tho
I bought breath of the wild to emulate on PC. Didn't want to fork over cash for the handheld. But not guna lie when tears of the kingdom released I wanted it day one so got the switch oled. Not a terrible console but emulation blows it outa the water. Feels like TOTK is a downgrade to BOTW😂
True. Nevertheless, I prefer to play games that also caress the eye. Especially since I'm not a fan of Kirby, Mario, Zelda and co. And... "The Witcher 3" or "Ghost of Tsushima" on switch? Haha.
i think the ps5 is better than an unmodded switch and a modded switch is barely better than the ps5. you can play as kratos in smash with a dualsense if your switch is modded
Astral chain, xenoblade 1-3, bayonetta 3, Mario odyssey, kirby and the forgotten lands, metroid dread and prime, fire emblem three houses and engage, DK, shin megami tensei V etc. There is more than Zelda...
I can feel this whole conversation I also have a PS5 and a Nintendo switch and I've been finding myself playing my Nintendo a lot more than I do my PS5
My switch has been collecting dust for the past 3 years. Nintendo fell off hard in terms of game quality. The switch itself was a cool idea for a few years but the games started to come out soulless
@@silentidiot69420unfortunately those batman games run bad too. This is the last year for switch. And thanks to mortal kombat 1 3rd party developers have pulled out saying no more 3rd party games until there's new upgraded hardware
My Nintendo NES is 30 years old and works like new. All I had to do is clean some dust from it. I changed the contrast and color in the tv as well, so it looks really nice and intense. Top tier.
POV: You don't have a wide variety of new and fun games from long-established IPs and from newer IPs, and a nice handful of classic games emulated with your online service portable and ready on-the-go gaming at a $400 entree fee (about $2-300 LESS than the rest of the competition), and cool motion control gimicks for more unique and varied gameplay included with the console Also POV: your console only has one exclusive title after being available for 3 years because nobody wants a PS5 for $600 Also also POV: neither of us know how to use POV
@DominicDumo. U must have only played one game. There's breath of the wild, tears of the kingdom, mario oddesy, mario wonder, and I'm sure many more that I haven't played. But every game ive played personally was fun
@@brandonslone8937 that’s probably why Nintendo has so many small, low budget, buggy, quick cash grab and unpolished games all for 60$ *cough* Pokémon *cough* *cough*
@@israelwilson4022 And Nintendo spends much time making their games. Mario Odyssey development began in 2012, and BotW started so early that it was meant to be a Wii U exclusive.
I have xbox series x & Nintendo Switch oled but i play most 😅Nintendo bcoz of portability and switch has fun + colourful games like zeda ,pokemon, mario, kirby, etc,.
PS5: "I have amazing graphics and am backwards compatible " Switch: " I'm portable and come with 2 controllers" Xbox Series X: " I look like a mini fridge!" PC: "I've technically been able to do all those things for years." Mobile: "I'm like a rich step dad of gaming. I know I don't have to try, but I still want your love... and money son 😚" Gamers in their late 20s and 30s: "I miss my (insert favorite console here)"
Problem is that most PS players throw a fit and insult switch players simply for having a different taste. If you don't like Nintendo then why do yall care. Just don't play it its that simple. Also the amount of money you have does not make you superior. You are not better because you have more money. Snap back to reality. And just fyi as someone who has both consoles, its not a flex to own a PS. Both are great in their own way. And if you insult someone for having a different taste then you are a very sad person
There's no problem with preferring to play your switch more than other systems due to 1st party exclusives but don't sit there and act like it's as good an option as ps5 or Xbox one when it comes to the majority of triple a titles. The problem is Nintendo doesn't know how to say no anymore to games that have 0 business being on their system
@@RAZZB3RRYWAFFL3 Never said anything about triple A titles. But since you want to jump start that discussion anyway Id say those titles have perfectly good reason to be on switch. Not saying its the best option but people who can't afford a better console still have a chance to play and they really don't care about what looks better. Thats really on the PS players for caring about things that shouldn't matter to them anyways coming back to my original point. I care about graphics but I can afford to care about it and buy tripple A on my PS5. Some people can't and are perfectly fine with a lower res version. Lots of PS/Xbox players care way to much about others playing "worse" versions that really doesn't impact their own gameplay in any way. Thats the point I wanted to make
@@tjeerdtrekkie1030this is very fair, like I myself have a gaming laptop, OLED switch, OLED steam deck (both very recent ofc, sold my old switch), and a PS5. of course I absolutely love playing whatever I can on the more premium console which is the PS5 in the crazy graphics and 60fps, but I also love having my handheld experience on the switch (grew up on Playstation and Nintendo consoles/handhelds) and steam deck, emulating on the deck and playing first and third party exclusives on switch. Even some games I can get elsewhere, like Mega Man Battle Network, Etrian Odyssey, 13 Sentinels, specific Final Fantasy games, etc. People gotta learn that it's ok to just enjoy all video games and consoles and play however you want lol. Some friends of mine on discord are always shocked that I'm not gonna use yuzu/ryujinx to emulate my switch games on PC or steam deck, and I'm like, I just love my switch 🤣
Playstation Fanboys must be tired of having a monkey contest with Xbox Fanboys all the time so they gotta channel some of it to Nintendo Fanboys (I hate video games and yet I play on a Switch)
I don’t care that much for the graphics, but framerate is the reason why Switch is not that good for me. I can play game that is graphically bad but frame rate is good and a game that is other way around, but with the switch games and mainly the triple A games for switch where the graphics and framerate are both downgraded, it kills the performance for me.
As a Playstation player this was great😂 my biggest thing is the backgrounds, people spent hard money on dope ass backgrounds only for them to remove backgrounds
nintendo switch: “i have to be recharged every few hours outside of the dock!” nintendo ds: “i’ve been sitting in the back of your closet for the past 10 years and i still have 95% battery left”
@@minties51 my battery is performing great, and that when it’s not charged for a long time. My old iPhones and iPads batteries al died and they are less old
I feel like Nintendo Switch is becoming like Apple. Everyone bash the specs and price of its apps but there's always something that makes ppl keep buying it over and over again. Watever they do, it works for Switch.
It's both portable (that explains the lower specs and price) and dockable. And has great exclusives and ported games. The only thing it lacks is in the graphics department, as it is slightly less powerful than a PS4, but you don't need a powerhouse to play Mario or Zelda and it'd be impossible to make them portable. In the world of gaming, if your product sucks it will simply be dipped, you can't do like Apple.
@@unohhhjjdd6716the switch being dockable and handheld doesn't explain the low performance because the steam deck exists only being a bit more expensive. It has Great exclusives you're right, just like the Ps5 has. but the Ps5 has better and more ported games. for example sm64 was ported poorly. the graphical department isn't the only bad thing about the switch. theres a lack of personality compared to older nintendo consoles, its not backwards compatible at all, you need to buy extra storage about 40€ just to own more than a few games digitally, lack of socially interactive online multiplayer games, the online membership is just as expensive as the ps5s ones even though it performs worse (theres literally 0 reason for this to happen), they refuse to port old titles even though theres no legal way of obtaining them today and even though theres a demand for it, no trophies, no communication network and a horrible eshop. not only slightly less powerful than a ps5, the ps5 is 4 times more powerfull than the switch and even more powerfull in aspects and no, its not impossible to be a powerhouse and a handheld, the steam deck disproves that. Yeah if your product sucks its gonna be dropped. The only reason the switch hasn't been dropped yet is because of 2 things: The exclusives and the handheld docked hybrid function. Nintendo better pray that people will never get tired of their exclusives when the next console isn't a handheld. The apple comparison with ps5 is just crazy when nintendo has more in common with apple. Delivering outdated hardware and still selling at full price just so you can enjoy the nintendo monopoly of exclusive titles.
If you want games that runs more than 30 fps, you'll need to build a powerful pc, because all games on consoles, specially after the first 2 or 3 years, are gonna run at 30fps, because the devs always gonna put their games at the limit of the console, like, ps4 was already moee powerful than the switch, but most of their games was 30fps, people played elden ring, dark souls 3 or bloodborne at 30fps on ps4, and same thing is gonna happen with ps5 games, or you think that gt6 is gonna run at 60?
@mishaalsaleh definitely not true, unless you're talking about pixel art indie games, every console is going to suffer with performance, specially in the second half of life cycle, because the devs will always push their games to the limit, same things happens with PC if you keep the same setup, the difference is that pc you can make small upgrades, so you can every 2 to 4 years upgrade cpu or gpu, eventually motherboarder, to make the pc with good performance, but if don't do it, the most recent games will have inferior performance.
@@CallMeMick also that apply same for Pirated Gamers and yeah but they do have mission & awards which gives them items in game I think but it's only available for the Nintendo online Member's which is a D##k move to those who buy physical copies of Nintendo games
it's not like trophies are that good but even if some games have got trophies for the switch ports to make up for the pack of trophies and they can come out as more stilyzed than standard trophies
We've got mk1, Tekken 8, Spiderman, God of War, Alan Wake 2, The last of us, Uncharted, Baldur's Gate, The Witcher, and so many more fun games with really good graphics.😊
@@stalkervalley absolutely not true. Most Switch games on Amazon are between 40 - 50$. In Europe they are between between 40-50 Euro. Most Playstation Games are between 40-70 Euro and Dollars.
