Hi 🥰 I was just looking to see if this was up. Oh my gosh Aubrey , I’m so very sorry! This happened to my neighbor in the middle of the night from a candle. We had to move because the smoke came in our apartment. It was a big deal and I’m so thankful my son woke up to hear the neighbors pounding on our door to wake us up. The fire started from a candle when they fell asleep. I can here your heart on this, Thank you for sharing and for the reminder! When such tragedy hits like this, it does shake us to our core! I will be praying for your friends! Sending you hugs !
@@melissaferguson3464 thank you Melissa. It really does and the scary thing is how fast everything happens. That is so amazing your son heard the knock. Our friend was telling us this weekend it’s not the fire that kills people it’s the fumes from the smoke , so thankful you guys got out before you were hurt. I just felt the need to share and remind my watchers you just never know. So many things you just don’t think about before tragedy strikes. Thanks for sending hugs it’s really appreciated. 🥰
Aubrey, I feel your heart, And I'm so sorry you and your friends are going through this. Hug... I agree 100% update checks create important balance. Candels are a risk all around. They burn yes, but they are in glass, and glass can be unsafe when handeld improperly. I've gotten brand new candles with a small crack undetected by my eyes and heard the crack grow while burning. Who knows what happens to them from shipping to your home. Bless God for His attentive vision! Thank you for you caring heart! Cute husband story, and you did great this past week!😉🌹🌹🌹🥰💞
@@SOFwT2020 yes it really is so unfortunate that our friend had to experience this, but they are alive so that is the most important and they have a great group of friends and we will do everything we can to help them thru this disaster. I agree you have to just be mindful around any fire source. My goal is to hopefully just remind people they need to be aware when burning candles. 🕯️
I just love a nice smelling surroundings, thanks for taking the time to explain the scents. My prayer is of peace hopes to find your friend as they recover from the fire.♥
Aubrey you bring up amazing points. Saftey is #1! Every year our insurance asks us to update everything and add more coverage. So well said. Better to be safe than sorry. ❤ I am gald nobody was hurt in the fire. But how sad to loose everything. Just to watch it all go. Praying for your friends 🙏
I’m so sorry to hear about your friends home 😞 keeping you all in my thoughts! Thank you for the friendly reminder on the candles 💜 it’s easy to set and forget! I agree, scentsy does have a great apple pie! 🥧 😊 thanks for sharing!
This is a great PSA Aubrey! It’s also why I’m terrified to start back burning candles and don’t use tea lights. My memory is terrible and I know I’d accidentally forget something burning. I’m so sorry to hear about your friend losing her home. She and her family will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers.
Oh Aubrey I am so sorry to hear this about your friend ❤ I will be praying for them. If there is a go fund me or anything like that for their family, I’d love to donate to them
@@AlexisSchlueter awwww thank you Alexis that means more than you know. We did ask if we could set one up for them. They want to wait until they talk to the insurance company before doing that. We had a few friends bring their son a new backpack and things for school, so he could have a few things. It’s was so hard to see, just words can’t explain. Thank you for being so kind and if we end up doing a go fund me account for them I will let you know. ❤️💜🙏
@@Rrukofall oh no Rruk I am so sorry you had to experience something like this, such a horrible thing to go thru. They have a good group of friends so we all will do what we can to help them thru this nightmare. 😢
@@StacysSagas thank you Stacy I appreciate your prayers. I just hope we can be there when they need us and never hesitate to ask for help. That’s what friends and family are for no matter how much or how little help they need. 💜
@@melissaferguson3464 gotta love those husbands sometimes. 😂 I was laughing pretty hard when he told me where he put it. 😂 hope you are doing well and Monday was nice to you. 🙂↕️
I am so sorry to hear this about your friend. I am praying-for them. I tend to only burn one candle at a time and its always on my kitchen island or on my stove top. A place I always walk through before leaving my house. I absolutely prefer and love the candle crock. Game changer. Thank you for mentioning calling insurance company about making sure the policy is up to date. ( honestly, I never think of that) Great empties Aubrey. Thank you for sharing!😊
@@susanfitzpatrick3369 yeah it’s such a sad situation. I am going to be very mindful I tend to light candles in areas where I am not so this was a good reminder to myself as well. 😀
@@susanfitzpatrick3369 lol I know I see it quite frequently in your video and every time I say to myself yes yes yes it’s so good, that Susan has great taste in scents. 😃
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's home. This is why I stopped burning candles. There were a couple times I forgot about them and thankfully nothing happened. Great empties Aubrey!
@@Dazzling_scents_with_chris oh my gosh how scary. Yeah I think most of us mostly melt wax, and probably for this exact reason. They make so many gadgets these days where you can still enjoy candles without burning them. Thanks for your support Chris. ❤️
I am very sorry about what happened to your friend. My mom and step-dad lost their home twenty years ago to a fire, and it truly was devastating. All of my baby pictures, and family heirlooms were wiped out. So I understand your concerns about burning candles and tea lights. I would do the same. Great empties reviews. I hope you have a great week.😊💜
@@summermichelle_ thank you Summer, it really was heartbreaking to see. 😢 thank you for the prayers, and on the flip side of the coin they got out without any harm, so I feel God did his thing for them in that respect. ❤️
So sorry to hear about your friend's home! Yes, Property values have changed substantially, but it's not something people think about updating. Definitely worth contacting your Insurance Agent and getting an updated valuation on your home. Great to hear what you've been melting ^-^
@@Disis19Hearts yeah it was not even in my radar and when we started talking about it I was like oh my gosh, the things you just don’t think about so I felt it was important to throw that reminder out to anybody who might watch my video. ❤️
I own and operate an adult foster home and we can only burn a candle in the common area where we are. Not in bedrooms. 😮 Sorry for your friends. Sending Prayers. 🙏
@@oldladyluck omg that is so cool that you operate and own a foster home for adults. I had no idea they had a place like that, I thought they only had foster programs for children. I would love to hear more about your program. ❤️
@@StephMelts Steph yeah you seem to be be pretty on top of your game and I am sure with a firefighter as a husband he tells you be mindful. It just got to my core so I think I will just make sure if I am burning a candle I can see it. They have a good group of friends so we will do all we can to help them thru this. lol those darn dryer disks are awful. I wish I could bring myself to just throw them away but I just can’t. 😂😭 I should because they really do suck.
Sorry for what happened to your friend I've been to the same thing about 4 years ago and it's terrible Lady got evicted out of her apartment so she decided to burn down 28 apartments All of them burnt down pretty much lost everything in my apartment Red Cross came out was on scene gave us $100 gift card toothbrush and a breakfast burrito still remember it like it was yesterday thank you for sharing new subscriber 😊
@@Cali_Collector75 oh my gosh I am so sorry to hear this. Fire is such a terrible beast and it takes everything away from you in seconds. I can even put in words how I felt walking thru the house, so you must have felt 100 times what I was feeling. I hope that you were able to recover from that experience and are doing better these days. 🫂
@@budgetwithfatima6530 oh Fatima that is a great idea, thank you so much for sharing that tip with me I would have never thought of that. Hope you are doing well. 💜
@@XizhousScentStudio lol right. I used to have them all over the house and they were not getting used. Then I get this idea and now I am getting thru 4 years of stalked up hand sanitizer. 😂
