Lowkey some of the most fun ive ever had was running through the countryside a small dirtbike through cornfields. Im sure it was mutual fun for them. Id like to think they mentioned me at the morning meetings at the pigpen. There arent many more confident then a rural sheriff with a v8 however.
For real... Running isn't the best either way, but if you going to, you better have a faster bike than a honda civic...much faster than that, actually 😂
I make YT videos on my other channel (not this one obvi) (S1KDK) and I ALWAYS talk about this subject. Social media “influencers” in the same niche as you and I seem to glorify running from the cops. Yes you can do it if you’re on a fast bike, is it REALLY worth it though?? These 18 year old kids with no experience riding starting on an R1 or an S1K because they want to be “cool”, turns into a REALLY bad situation VERY fast. Felony’s aren’t fun, lawyers aren’t fun, and court is NOT fun. Stay safe out there and I’m glad I see another motovlogger that actually talks about the REALITY behind this stuff. It is absolutely nuts how many police chases I see on RU-vid, and just remember all the videos you see of the bikes getting away. Is because they got away, they can’t post the ones of them getting caught because their SD card is taken for evidence. Oh and BTW even if you DO get away, they will be looking for your bike, your helmet, your body size for A LONG TIME. Anyways, I’m glad you made this video, hope to see you keep pushing out content.

ran from the cops a bunch of times started small like im doing ten over cop puts lights on pretend i dont see him and take an exit would surprisingly work escaladed until i got caught drifting my wifes 370z yes not even my car im aware tried running and yeah. dont do it just pull over. for legal reasons this is all a funny joke
You're lucky for them not pursuing you further in the beginning, but it just goes to show that it's only a matter of time before things catch up to you.
I have a ninja 500. It’s great up till about 100. Then it struggles to pick up speed. Any police cruiser is gonna have no issue going 130/140 so yeah you’re not gonna outrun them
I would have to disagree with the dont run ive escaped them on 250 dirt bikes and pitbikes all you have to do on a dirtbike is take them on trails and woods for about an hour then on pit bikes you want to go in a circle with them for a bit till they almost go on the sidewalk and then take a bunch of tight alleys out dirt roads I live out in the country so all I have to do is just take them threw some farmers field and usually the call it quits it also helps though that the cops dont really give a shit where I live because im just a kid riding dirtbikes sdo I dont even get chased ive been chased 3 times because I flipped them off and taunted them but if I dont then they wave or even say its cool and to have fun I could only imagine if you had a 500 how easy it would be to run just take the highway and cut up or take a bunch of turns where bikes can only go or again go in circles that is one of the most ego hurting things and it almost always works escaping the cops is not that hard its just scary and with how much adrenaline you have the last thing you worry about is how fast your cooking through the trails the first time I got chased was on my yz250f and I new a trail system I would ride and the some of trails where really fast but not as fast as I remember when I was running I think I had the gas pinned for a minute straight going through those trails and it was like I was the best rider alive I didnt mess up once and even if you do get hurt you dont care at all but anyways enough of my rant.
Being in an extremely rural area is a different situation than what I was describing. We live in a fairly urban are where the cop cars can do 145mph eventually. There's no real way for people to run away or use trail systems to escape here. At the end of the day, running from the cops is only putting yourself at risk of getting hurt and getting in greater trouble when you get caught.
